LOMPOC MISSION La Purisma Rebuilt from Ruins!

La Purisma Mission in Lompoc was rebuilt from ruins. It was destroyed by an earthquake in 1812 and rebuilt at the current site . The new location fell into ruin again and was rebuilt by the Civilian Conservation Corp, a part of the New Deal in the 30's to employ young men. Now a part of the California State Park system Park Ranger Kristen McNally tells about the current programs , the great hiking and cultural center all on the Mission site.
