Pensée du jour : la datura

Hello, it may seem a bit strange to you, but for years I have tried to grow datura in the garden.
It is a plant also called stramoine, datura stramonium. Extremely toxic, be very careful.
But it is also a plant that has been considered medicinal in the past.
I have a small collector aspect, so I thought I would put it in a small remote corner of the garden, a little inaccessible, to go and admire it in secret.
It is very invasive, I know that, so I thought I would be very careful.
At least with the others, it may be a little bit everywhere around you, but it turns out that at home it never wanted to grow.
However, I have some experience in gardening and germination, but it refused my invitation.
It's like that, so I had to drop it.
Then I did some little work, I had to dig a pretty deep hole.
And in my mess, who came to give me a little visit, with a seed that probably comes from the depths, which must have had a datura plant for decades.
And there I say to myself, we are in control, we want to control everything, we want to accelerate the timing of natural processes.
We want to impose a place for our living being to develop.
You must have seen that in the garden, the fact that we are going to plant a medicinal plant or a vegetable garden somewhere.
And then it will grow back, but not at all where it suits you, but it will grow where it suits it.
Of course, it's normal.
In fact, we think we have mastered it, but we do not master anything at all.
And the wink of this little datura is to come and tell me, you wanted to tame me, but you can't.
I waited for you to let go, for you to give up all expectations to come and visit you.
Thank you for this lesson.
