Explore the giant sugarcane fields in the U.S.
Hello everyone, this is a superfood in the hot summer season, sugarcane juice.
Previously, farmers in Vietnam thought that only Vietnamese people drank sugarcane juice
and only Vietnamese farmers could grow sugarcane trees, but not everyone.
The U.S. is one of the countries that grows the most sugarcane in the world
and the sugar production industry from sugarcane is still a pride and honor of the people in this country.
And in today's video, I will take you to the U.S. to explore the giant sugarcane fields here.
Yes, as you can see, this is a giant sugarcane field in the U.S.
In addition to this Florida area, sugarcane is also grown commercially in states such as Louisiana, Hawaii and Texas.
These are both tropical and near-tropical states,
and have a suitable land for sugarcane to grow and develop.
Because sugarcane is a tropical tree, just like in Vietnam,
sugarcane is mainly grown in areas with sunshine around the year.
Looking from above, these sugarcane fields look like a maze
because all the leaves cover a large area of land, higher than the human heart.
If you try to hide and look for it, you can't find it.
So there are families who have developed a passion for their sugarcane fields
to attract visitors to the U.S.
I have to give 100 compliments for this unique idea.
Well, let's skip the idea.
Let's go to the C02 sugarcane field in the U.S.
American farmers have used all the machines to grow, take care of and harvest sugarcane.
Sugarcane will be grown by the field.
The sugarcane field does not need much water because it is a tropical tree.
When harvesting sugarcane, large machines like this one
will cut all the branches and leaves to complete the harvesting process.
The process of sugarcane processing is a bit more complicated.
At first, sugarcane was processed into raw sugar in factories near the sugarcane field
because sugarcane is quite expensive to grow and transport,
so it has to be processed as soon as possible to reduce the loss of sugar.
The raw sugar is then transferred to processing factories to produce processed sugar.
The final products of the processing process include powdered sugar,
brown sugar and brown sugar.
These are the last sugar products that we use every day, guys.
The sugarcane industry was once flourishing in the U.S.
with dozens of generations of sugarcane farmers.
However, today, due to competition from imports and many other unprofitable factors,
the sugarcane industry in the U.S. is declining,
and the factories are producing less and less sugarcane.
However, with their wisdom and creativity,
the remaining farmers of the sugarcane field still have a way to survive and develop.
In Florida, farmers have processed sugarcane into mobile sticks
to transport large quantities to other areas for energy production.
They will be fuel for windmills,
produce water and bioenergy for the operations of power companies.
A sugar mill in Texas also turns sugarcane waste into environmentally-friendly products
such as absorbents to manage the environment,
and biofuels to improve the production of sugarcane,
as well as other types of soil for plants.
Biofuels made from sugarcane will be brought back to the field
to improve water retention, reduce water flow,
improve the ability to maintain nutrition and carbon content in the soil,
and increase the recovery ability of plants.
In the U.S., there are currently 11,000 sugarcane farmers on millions of hectares of land.
U.S. sugar producers have created 142,000 jobs for Americans in 22 states.
More than half of the daily sugar supply for Americans comes from sugarcane fields.
And in total, thanks to sugarcane, the U.S. has produced nearly 10 million tons of sugar a year.
The result is that although it is declining,
the sugarcane industry and the sugarcane industry in the U.S. are still very large and terrible.
The U.S. often hears that the sugarcane family today
not only includes many generations of farmers who grow, harvest and take care of sugarcane,
but also drivers who transport crops out of the fields,
workers who work in factories,
factories that produce and factories that process, process and pack sugar,
and all those who work to bring sugar from packaging facilities to your table.
Sugarcane has become a proud industry in the U.S.,
which is why U.S. farmers are increasingly concerned about their sugarcane fields.
They always try to create as much output as possible for their fields.
They transfer to a more sustainable and water-saving irrigation system.
They use nutrients for sugarcane with a smaller, more accurate irrigation system.
They support, promote and enjoy the modern, sustainable sugarcane harvesting process,
using and re-creating all types of substances from sugarcane trees to protect the environment in the best possible way.
In general, the U.S. sugarcane cultivation process is also the trend of agriculture now.
Agriculture on an industrial scale,
from A to Z, everything is done by machines,
from planting, taking care of, to processing and storing.
People only need to participate to monitor and operate the machines,
while there are machines that replace people to do everything.
The process is in a large scale,
focusing on the output and quality of the trees,
but also not forgetting to protect the environment.
The fruits of agricultural development are largely from the environment,
so don't leave the environment.
If not, one day, nature and the environment will be too bad,
as well as angry, then people will have to pay the price, right?
If you have a chance to go to the U.S. rural area,
don't forget to visit these huge sugarcane fields.
Let's experience with the farmers here,
see if their process of harvesting and processing sugarcane
is the same as what the Agriculture 4.0 admin team has just shared with you.
Don't forget to bring a few bags of U.S. sugarcane to Vietnam,
try to see if they are any different from Vietnamese sugarcane.
I think there will be some differences.
Otherwise, if you have a chance, just feel it.
If not, go to the supermarket right away to try the U.S. export sugarcane and try it.
Thank you for watching to the last minute of today's video.
