Princess Catherine Shines in Cream at Her First Royal Easter
Thanks for watching
Hello everyone and welcome back to Royal Insider News.
With Easter Sunday just days away, excitement is building for the traditional matins service at
St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. The Royal Family is preparing to gather once again for this
special day of reflection, hymns and togetherness, followed by a classic roast lunch at the castle.
King Charles and Queen Camilla will lead the service on Sunday April 5th and there is strong
expectation that the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and
Prince Louis will join the family gathering, marking a possible return to the public Easter
tradition. In the lead up to Easter, the Wales family has been enjoying a quiet spring break
with the children. As anticipation grows for this Sunday, it's the perfect moment to look back at a
very special milestone, Princess Catherine's very first Easter appearance with the Royal Family in
2017. That year marked an important step in her royal journey. Just six years after marrying
Prince William, the then Duchess of Cambridge joined the family at St George's Chapel for the
Easter Sunday service. It was a graceful and elegant debut that set the tone for many beautiful
appearances to come. For her first royal Easter, Princess Catherine chose a timeless cream Catherine
Walker coat dress, a piece she had previously worn during the 2015 Royal Tour of Canada.
The bespoke design featured elegant princess seams, a Peter Pan collar and delicate piping.
She styled it with a matching satin pillbox hat from Loc & Co and a Tui Bags clutch, nude Rupert
Sanderson pumps and beautiful pearl and diamond earrings loaned by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
She looked poised, radiant and perfectly in tune with the spring occasion. It was a classic,
sophisticated look that combined tradition with her signature modern grace. Nine years later,
as we approach Easter 2026, fans are hopeful to see Princess Catherine continue this beloved
tradition. Whether in soft pastels or bold hues, her Easter appearances have always brought warmth
and elegance to the day. What are your hopes for this year's Royal Easter? Will we see the whole
Wales family together again? Let us know in the comments. If you enjoyed this look back at Princess
Catherine's first Royal Easter as we head into 2026, please give the video a thumbs up, subscribe
