We're moving! Again... But it means we're making progress. I'm taking you along a hectic week. I am a little behind in using all the footage I shot. The weather has turned to really warm and sunny days that feel more like summer than spring and I am so excited about it. Also moving back to the "old" kitchen has changed how we live in the house and the weather makes us live outside 100% of the time, except when we sleep. It's bliss! Will be sharing more of that wonderful summer style life in the coming videos! Thanks for being here!

In the last video you saw how they put in the top floor
in what will be our future family's kitchen and home.
So this means we can finally empty the cottage
and start working on all the final finishes because we've rented this out
this summer. I will share a separate video showing you all the final
finishing works that we'll do for the cottage and of course
also the reveal but that's not for this video. Hopefully I can do that very soon.
When we started this renovation project four years ago
we knew it was going to be a long and intense process
and sometimes honestly it feels so overwhelming
and we tend to worry about everything that still needs to be done
rather than looking back to see how far we've actually come.
This must be about the fifth time that we're moving all of our furniture
to another place that will be our temporary living space.
Everything is temporary, everything has been temporary
for the past four years and sometimes honestly
that can really start to feel very tiring
but we have a very clear vision of what we're doing,
why we're doing it and where we're going. We're seeing that family home that
we've always dreamed of and we're seeing that refuge for guests
that we're creating but also knowing that we're living the
dream how we envisioned, building this beautiful place together
as a family, all four of us and creating memories
doing this. Sharing our journey with you is also a great motivation for both me
and Olaf. Just knowing that you're out there and
following us and cheering us on is a huge support. I don't think that I've
said that so here it is. Thank you so much and a warm welcome as
well to all of you new followers. Thank you so
much for being here, we really really
appreciate it.
And you are always on my mind
Time
Always on my mind
Time
Must be playing tricks with time
What are you doing?
Nothing?
I don't think anybody understood what you said but anyway
we're moving in, well moving in, we're putting our
furniture here. This floor was just put in
a few days ago and they said it was okay to walk on it and put stuff on it but
of course it's not meant to be like this and
it will be extremely dusty and we know but we have no other choice we have to
continue in the cottage. So that's the cottage
this is our future kitchen and that's the oldest part of the house
which will be a cottage in the future as well
Our personal space is a cottage that's rented as of
June, oldest part of the house that will renovate, I don't know when but
that's the last thing on the list. So we are currently focusing
on getting the cottage ready, we're doing the floors there, we're
putting in béton ciré, so all of the stuff that's in there
we're currently moving that here so that we can do the floors here
and yeah that means that we kind of need to camp in here in the dust
so we're putting in as little as we can and
so this used to be the barn and here used to be our old kitchen
when we moved in here four years ago and we're
putting everything back in here so this can be the kitchen
again. So yeah that's it we're gonna put the fridge there now
Get your gut!
I always make soup with this, do you like it?
Let's eat!
