Bonjour!
A quieter season is beginning. 🍇🔥🎹
In this video, I make a batch of homemade grape confiture, enjoying the simple rhythm of cooking and preserving the last flavours of the season.
After a very busy summer, I’m also forced to slow down a little. An injury forces me to rest and give my body some time to recover, something that isn’t always easy when there is so much to do. So this video is a little about learning to embrace a slower pace and finding comfort in the everyday things.
And there are a few big deliveries along the way: a piano arrives at our French country home, bringing a whole new presence (and plenty of admiration from our cat Tigrette!), and we get a fresh stock of firewood ready for the colder months ahead.

A gentle glimpse into late summer turning towards autumn, with homemade preserves, unexpected pauses, new music, and preparations for the season to come. 🤎

Thank you for being here and sharing these quiet moments with me.
Love,
Marloes
