ExclusiveTárrega: Recuerdos de la Alhambra (Memories of the Alhambra)

【Classical Music and Nature Francisco Tárrega: Recuerdos de la Alhambra (Memories of the Alhambra). This beautiful piece was presented by ClassicalMusicForMedia. It is a royalty free music from Pond5.com.

The piece Recuerdos de la Alhambra requires the player to be able to play a demanding guitar tremolo. In this trembolo, a single melodic note is plucked successively by the ring, middle and index fingers in such rapid succession as to create an illusion of a single sustained note. It is often played by advanced players.

And yes, it really is not a duet, but a solo piece, although many who did not witness the performance might think it is a duet.

A beautiful piece in which the Spaniard Francisco Tárrega proves once again that he is rightly considered one of the greatest guitar virtuosos and guitar composers.

The video recording is a perfect match. The white bark of the birch trees harmonizes perfectly with the light blue sky and the white to gray clouds. It was taken in bitter cold during a winter storm.

The recording was made by Chrsitian Schlegel with an X-H2S. The video was edited by Wenjing Ma.

【Classical Music and Nature
