It tastes good.
I'm a bitch.
What's going on, everybody?
Welcome to a very, very special chicken wing episode
of Fung Bro's Food.
We had to come all the way to Sacramento, California
just for Fire Wings.
Now, Sacramento is one of the most diverse cities
in all of America.
And guess what?
This may very well be the most diverse chicken wing spot
in all of America.
They got over 21 flavors here.
Hot chicken sandwiches, garlic noodles.
I've never seen anything like this.
They're expanding all across the country right now.
So, let's go.
All right, we are here at Fire Wings
and we have 10 crazy flavors right in front of us.
We got Tim here, the wing man.
Yo!
This is sort of like the Asian section.
Obviously, Jamaica's in there too.
This one right here is a salt and pepper.
Peking, teriyaki, Jamaican jerk, Saigon street,
Malaysian curry, Thai chili, Korean kick,
dragon flavor, peanut butter.
Ooh, okay, all right.
Like a peanut satay?
Oh, yes, sir, like a peanut satay.
What made you guys inspired to do this?
Well, you know, our mission statement here
is actually bringing people together.
All ages, races, ethnicities, everything.
It brings a lot of worlds,
or I guess it's global, together.
International flavors.
Yes, sir.
Here at Fire Wings, all right.
All right.
Well, thank you, Tim.
I'm ready to try also your hot chicken sandwich too,
because I heard that's really spicy.
Oh, it's bomb.com.
All right.
It's on fire.
Guys, just the smell coming off of these wings right now,
it's unbelievable.
And you can tell there's some tangy flavors in there
because when you smell it,
your nose is kind of getting this little kick like, ooh.
Bro, what is that?
Guys, here, we have the peanut butter satay wings
with crushed peanuts on top.
Are you a wing man?
Are you a, you're a drum man or a?
David's a drum man, dude.
I'm a flats guy.
The peanut butter wing.
Mm, smelling it.
Sticky, sweet, crunchy.
The way you sniffed it, you were like,
like you were like a dog just.
Even though it's been drenched in the sauce,
it's still like super crispy, sweet, salty.
It's amazing.
Was that a satay I am?
It's a satay I am cremished.
That's pahasa.
Wow, David.
Are you a polyglot?
What have we got next?
What is it?
A Jamaican jerk.
You're crazy, bro.
Such an interesting smell to it.
Jamaican people, usually when they make the jerk chicken,
there's a lot of allspice, a lot of cinnamon.
Hey, remember that one Kanye line
where he's like, you can make it spicy.
He goes, I'll have the jerk.
And the waitress said, you are what you eat.
Hey, Jamaican jerk.
Lord have mercy.
Oh, Ryan went in.
It's all good.
Ryan, let's do it.
It's good to take a good whiff before you bite.
Yeah, man.
Dude, this is super good.
Dry rub mix is so well balanced.
Like it doesn't overpower the chicken.
There's something beautiful about dry rub.
There's something beautiful about that.
Are you normally a dry rub person?
Are you like the wet, sticky?
Usually I'm a dry rub.
Hey, fire wings?
It's fire.
What should we say?
Fire man.
Fire man, I'm a fire man.
All right, man, let's go with the dragon wing.
Dragon wing, sweet soy.
I love this bite of the wing
where the little bit of the skin is,
call that the wing bump.
The wing bump.
Major money.
Real money.
Yeah, that's a good word.
There is a little funk to it.
I can't really like put my finger on.
There was a complexity to the dragon flavor.
There was multiple layers that hit you.
Oh man, you just, one just exploded.
Talk about getting hit with the funk.
Oh man.
You cannot, show it to the camera.
You got it.
That was dragon juice.
All right, coming up next, guys,
we're going to try their Korean kick.
So you're saying this is like a Taekwondo roundhouse.
All right, Korean kick.
Oh wow.
Not a punch.
That's a kick.
Because you feel that gochujang.
And gochujang, if you guys know,
it's sort of like the Korean pepper paste.
And it also, gochu means dick.
We went from Seoul to Kuala Lumpur.
This one I'm really excited about
because usually when people think about curry wings,
they're not thinking about a dry curry round.
I think of like Mele noodles.
Call it Mele.
Mele?
Malai?
I was like, Mele?
Are we talking about Mashed Brothers?
That was definitely the white side of me peeking through.
Malaysian curry wing.
It totally captured the essence.
I like it.
It has like a little bit of that earthy curry flavor.
It's on a dry rub, so there's not too much batter
or not too much sauce.
It's super crispy too.
Guys, guys, guys.
You know what I'm smelling right now?
Smelling a little bit of that nuoc mam.
They call these Saigon Street though.
I like the name.
Saigon Street nuoc mam wings.
I'm amazed at how juicy these wings are, bro.
They're battered, but so lightly battered.
Right, yeah.
I think it does a good job of paying homage
to the country that the wings are coming from.
I feel it.
It's authentic.
Right in the kisser.
I think we gotta go to Thailand.
We gotta go to Bangkok.
Sawadee krap.
Thai chili wings.
I can see why that's the number one bestseller.
It's sweet.
The flavor is familiar, but it's still elevated.
Right.
Thai chili, like the Mae Ploy Thai chili sauce,
essentially this is what it's based off of,
is pretty much going to be the definition
of hot and sweet moving forward in cuisine.
Let me just tell you, I like what I see.
I see fried onions.
I see fried jalapenos.
I see fried garlic bits.
Zuyu ngayek, Cantonese style salt and pepper wings.
You know what?
I'm gonna make sure I get some onions
and chili on my bite though.
Pack it on, yeah.
Let's get it.
Salt and pepper wings.
Oh, man.
That crunch.
Oh, that is so good.
I just want to eat these onions on their own, man.
This one definitely had the best crunch
out of any of the wings that we've had so far.
Oh, I love this one.
I'm not gonna, like-
A little biased, maybe?
I'm human.
I'm not biased.
I'm human.
I think I need a little carrot cellular break.
Oh!
No!
By the way, guys, at Fire Wings,
you don't need the sauces.
So, you guys, we are going from Chinatown
to American Chinese.
Because if you guys know about this rub right here
on the Peking one,
that is a rub that you see from, like, the 1950s
from a dish called the poo-poo platter.
Hey, Ken, you want a Peking flavor from the poo-poo?
The poo-poo.
This is the Peking wing.
Wow.
American Chinese flavors are still good.
I don't care if you can't even find that wing in China.
That's good.
As soon as I bit that,
it kind of just brought me back to, like,
my mom getting us, like, Chinese takeout,
going to a soccer game, like...
Dude, you know what I love about this spot
is that you're getting all these different flavors
and you don't have to order, like, a huge dish of it.
Yo, I recommend you come with your friends here
to Fire Wings and get the whole flight.
We're gonna end off our international flavor section
with the classic teriyaki wings.
Perhaps the most well-known Asian American flavor.
God, these are stinky.
Look, look at this.
Teriyaki boys.
Whether it's gochujang or teriyaki,
they are representing the sauces to the max.
It's a great balance for the teriyaki sauce, man.
On three, we put our hand over the one we like the most.
All right, three.
I didn't do it.
Boom!
What?
Oh!
You chose the same one as me.
I think I had to go with the Jamaican.
The Jamaican jerk was really good.
And then you went with it.
I went with the Malaysian.
Oh, you went Malaysian.
Wet rub on three.
I got a nuoc mam wing.
You got the peanut butter.
Peanut butter.
And then David went with the semi-dry.
Right, right, right.
Which is like a half-half.
The way they take you here, they take you there.
You got options.
Guys, that wraps it up for our international section
of Fire Wings.
What's up, doc?
Yo, we have three brand new flavors.
Currently unreleased.
This is the first time anybody's had them.
But by the time you watch this video,
they're out there.
They're out of Fire Wings.
Yo, this is like looking at a new sneaker drop.
Dude, do you smell this?
Big shout out to the Asian flavors.
But now we're taking a trip to where?
To the taco rub one first.
Yeah.
Yo, a taco rub?
Uno, dos, tres, cuatro.
Eating wings, there's flavor like tacos.
Oh, that's all I got.
Taco rub.
Oh, I just.
Oh, s***.
It's hot.
Who's saying that this is taco Tuesday?
Taco Tuesday.
All right, guys.
Shout out to LeBron.
You're not getting the trademarked on.
Taco chicken wing.
It's kind of like a Mexican lemon pepper.
Like it was super, super citrusy.
We've got a Fire Wing designed to taste
like the Mexican tamarind lollipop.
I might have to lick it first.
It's going to give you that flavor.
Woo, arriba.
It's kind of like the one that's like,
you're smacking your mouth everywhere.
It's still like puckering.
Oh my goodness.
Salsa.
Dude.
Last of the wings.
You said el infierno?
Means what?
Inferno?
Inferno.
As in Dante's Inferno?
As in Dante's Inferno.
Oh, s***.
No, smell it.
All right, everybody take a whiff.
Take a big whiff.
Whoa.
Almost just singed some of my nose hairs.
El infierno.
Oh, it's creeping.
Woo.
Just making my nose water right now.
First one to drink water does what?
I can't even talk right now.
Holy s***.
But beyond just a,
the spiciness.
I don't need it.
I'm going for it.
David loses.
I'll be right back.
I see why you were dying earlier.
Oh yeah.
Look at Andrew over there.
Should I go and pick?
Tropicana, save me.
Napkins, napkins.
I'll tell you what.
I was on a plane here.
Couldn't really breathe through my nose.
No problem right now.
No problems now.
Here we have the super hot Nashville chicken.
Oh, but they got the regular one too
because I'm not even going to lie guys,
I tapped out.
So you got the original.
I got the super hot.
And then Ryan is going to go for the super hot fire.
But he's not a rapper.
Is that too old?
Is that too old of a reference for the internet?
Wow.
Ryan looks stunned.
Look at that.
Oh my gosh.
I love that chicken thigh.
It's going to be a big one.
What makes a good sandwich for me
is like that good balance of protein,
something like cold and refreshing.
Yeah, because the coleslaw is kind of balancing it out.
Yo, we got the garlic noodles.
Like I said, you cannot find this at a lot of places
because you wouldn't think that a place does wings
and it does noodles.
Oh man, garlic noodles are so good.
I feel like it's the Asian French bread
or the Asian garlic bread.
They're chewy, a little bouncy.
And Chinese people always say that this texture is QQ.
QQ, you guys, is the desirable bounce that a boba has.
All right, you guys, we ready for hot ones.
Holy crap, dude.
Guys, don't call me out
because I'm already calling myself a wuss.
I'm out.
I'm the judge.
Oh man.
I'm good.
You guys are going to be each having the hottest wing
that they offer here at Fire Wings.
Tim, Tim, Tim, what would you describe this as?
What level are we looking at?
Hell.
You know, when you can describe it in one word
and that one word describes the worst place.
Your nose is already sweating.
You're already sweating.
No, no, no.
We're going to clean them
and we've got to answer questions
while we're cleaning the wing.
It smells, oh.
Horrible in a way.
Like it's like tasty, but it's just going to be bad.
All right, man.
I'm a bitch.
I don't care.
Goodbye.
Hey, just eat it.
Just eat it.
I don't want to hear any.
I don't want to see the heavy breathing.
What is your favorite Asian food?
Thai food.
Sushi.
Clean.
What is the biggest regret in your life up to this point?
Doing this.
Pop out answer.
All right.
That one.
What's your favorite quote to live by?
Don't kick on the past, live in the present.
Whoa, you guys are getting messed up.
What's your favorite quote to live by?
You're up to others as you would like them to do up to you.
Oh man.
We got ice.
No, just ice, just ice.
Oh no.
You know how when you eat something spicy,
you're supposed to get like an adrenaline rush?
People say that you like feel high.
I definitely feel that now.
Who's going to win the NBA championship this year?
Lakers.
All day.
Oh no.
I touched my eye.
Ow.
Let's go.
If you were to play one celebrity realistically
in a movie, who would it be?
Keanu Reeves.
A young Bobby Lee.
I'm not going to lie, guys.
You guys, I have an award and a winner.
I got to give it to Benson.
Benson wins.
I felt like I got kicked in the nuts after eating that.
Yeah, you felt it in your nuts?
I did.
I got to say though, these wings are super, super spicy,
but they tasted good.
You good, bro?
No, no, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not.
They do a competition here at Fire Wings
where you have to eat 10 of them
to get a year's worth of free wings.
Mind my language?
F**k that.
Guys, that is it for our feast here
at Fire Wings in Sacramento.
They have locations all over Northern California.
They did diversity the right way.
It's like everybody's in the same place,
but everybody's represented well, authentically,
and most importantly, deliciously.
All right, you guys, thank you so much for watching.

but guess what?
We have a parting gift for you.
The super hot Fire Wing.
So they gave me a little bit
of the XXX super hot powder to put on top.
Now he doesn't know I'm doing this,
but let's see if he can handle this.
Oh yeah.
Oh my gosh.
Feels like sand.
Let's get it.
Wing, a wing so hot, he took off his glasses.
Second chocolate milk.
Yo, this hurts.
What's the best thing you ate in LA before?
In LA.
Stop asking me questions.
You have good flavor though, right?
Yeah.
It's the whole thing, man.
It's a head rush.
Let's see it like Justin,
where he was living right now.
Wow.
It's not fun.
Hey, John's not having fun anymore.
John, which ex do you miss the most?
I only have one.
So it's her?
