Hi Bold Bakers!
If you ask me, it is never too early to start gearing up for summertime.
That is why today I have got your top 5 most requested milkshake flavors, including strawberries
and cream and a delicious frozen hot chocolate.
So let's get blending.
So before we get started, the recipes, as always, can be found on BiggerBolderBaking.com
and if you're new to my channel, then welcome and make sure you tap that subscribe button.
Okay, now millions of you have already enjoyed my first milkshake video.
That's why I really wanted to do even more flavors for you.
So at number 5, we've got a really delicious flavor that is a classic but it will never
go out of style.
It is a strawberries and cream milkshake.
So milkshakes are really simple.
All you need is a blender or a liquidizer and then we're going to add in all of our
ingredients.
Into our blender, add in your ice cream, milk, and frozen strawberries.
Now all you want to do is blend it up until it's thick and smooth.
So the ice cream that I used is my 2-ingredient no-machine ice cream recipe.
I just made a plain base but you can also add other flavors to it if you want.
Also you can use store-bought ice cream too.
Our milkshake looks great.
It's lovely and thick.
So just fill up your milkshake glass all the way to the top.
Look at how thick that is.
Now I'm all about garnishing, as you know, so I have some whipped cream.
I'm going to pipe some on top.
And then a beautiful, nice strawberry.
Gorgeous.
There's something about strawberries and cream that is simple yet so delicious.
Oh yum.
Oh, if you ever wanted to have summer in a glass, this is definitely it.
So delicious.
Mmm.
Okay, that's number 5.
Let's move on to number 4.
For our next flavor, we are taking a classic American dessert and turning it into a delicious
drink.
It is a cherry pie milkshake.
Into our pitcher, we're going to add in our ice cream, milk, and frozen cherries.
So for the milkshakes, use frozen fruit and berries because it makes the milkshakes so
much thicker and nicer.
Okay, that took no time at all.
Another delicious milkshake ready.
Fill your milkshake glass up 3 quarters of the way.
Cherries turn such a gorgeous color when they're blended.
Now I'm saving a little bit of room and I'll show you why.
Here I have some crushed up graham crackers.
You can also use like any kind of a vanilla biscuit, digestive biscuits, anything like
that.
I'm just going to scatter a layer over the top of the milkshake.
Because a cherry pie always has a crust, kind of a base, so that's what this is going to
be.
Our little makeshift crust.
Oh, look how it sits on top.
Lovely.
These cookies will also add a nice thickness and texture to your milkshake.
And then whipped cream on top, of course, because I love whipped cream.
And then to finish it off, a cherry on top.
Pop a straw in so I can give it a little taste.
Oh yum.
It's blended up frozen cherries and the cookies are starting to sink down into the bottom.
What could be better than a whole dessert blended up into one drink?
This is absolutely delicious.
I'm not going to fill up on this because now we're going to move on to number 3.
So smack bang in the middle of our list, I think has to be one of my absolute favorite
desserts and I only ever had it when I moved to the United States.
We are going to make a banana pudding milkshake.
So start off by adding in your ice cream, milk, and then frozen bananas.
So next I'm going to add in my secret ingredient, and that is a Nilla wafer.
This is what you find in a banana pudding, they're vanilla kind of biscuits, they're
absolutely delicious.
And I'm actually just going to throw a few of them into my milkshake because I can.
I'm going to make it taste delicious and nice and thick.
Okay everything is in there, on with our hat, and then on to the blender.
So I'm going to make a little suggestion.
If you haven't seen my first milkshake video, then make sure you go over there and watch
it after this one.
It has amazing flavors like an Oreo milkshake and even a cheesecake one.
Absolutely delicious.
Okay this is looking good, ready to come off.
Now just go ahead and fill up your nice milkshake glass.
Just see how thick this is.
I think it's from all that frozen banana.
This is what my dreams are made of right here.
Gorgeous.
All the way to the top.
Now just like the real banana pudding, I'm going to garnish this guy with some whipped
cream, sliced bananas, and Nilla wafers on top to make it really big and bold.
Oh my gosh, it's just spilling over the side.
This definitely deserves a happy dance.
Oh yeah.
Mmm.
Put this one at the top of your list, you're going to love it.
Okay.
Mmm.
Number three.
Now we're going to move on to number two.
Now I have to give you guys kudos for the next flavor because it's possibly one of the
most popular desserts on Bigger Bolder Baking.
We are making a s'more milkshake.
So into our pitcher we're going to add in some ice cream, milk, so now the next ingredient
for our s'more milkshake is toasted marshmallows.
Because you cannot have a s'more without toasted marshmallows.
I just popped these guys onto the grill, get them nice and toasty, and then I'm just going
to pop them right in there.
Throw in as many as you want, totally up to you.
I think the more the merrier.
Okay, on with our hat, I'm very excited for this one, and then blend them up.
So now it's definitely worth toasting your marshmallows because you kind of get that
campfire taste off them when they're all nice and toasty, it reminds you so much like a
s'more.
So now for this milkshake, I want to jazz up the glass a little bit.
So here I have some honey, and I have my milkshake glass, and all you want to do is put a tiny
tiny line all around the rim, like so.
Just a thin line.
Now don't worry, there's a method to my madness.
Then we're going to take our glass now that's nice and sticky, and I am going to dunk it
into a bowl of crushed cookies.
These are graham crackers, because with a s'more you'll always have graham crackers.
And as you can see, it starts to coat onto the honey, and you get this beautiful cookie
rim.
Fantastic.
Okay great, now that's the cookies, now a s'more always needs chocolate, so here I have
some lovely chocolate sauce.
You can use homemade or store-bought.
You just want to drizzle that into your glass, do a nice thick layer at the bottom.
And if you want to get really fancy, drizzle it along the sides of the glass.
Like so.
Gorgeous.
Okay, now let's fill her up.
There's no way that this does not taste good.
Oh my gosh.
Then keep going and top it off with some whipped cream, toasted marshmallow, and even more
graham cracker.
Yep.
Okay.
You know what?
Take back what I said about the banana pudding one.
This is insane.
But here's the thing, if this is number two, just imagine what made number one at the top
of your list.
So now you guys are really creative, because the milkshake that made the top number one
spot is, drumroll, frozen hot chocolate.
You are going to love this flavor.
Into your pitcher, add in ice cream, milk, and then hot chocolate powder.
Hot chocolate powder is a great thing to have around the house.
This is my homemade version, but you can always use store-bought.
And then on with our lid, and blend this guy up.
I love hot chocolate in the wintertime, and now I'm really excited that I get to have
it in the summertime too.
So then just like before, fill your glass all the way to the top.
Then top it off with some whipped cream, lovely, and then just a little bit of grated chocolate
on top.
Just to really push it over the edge.
Okay, so let's see if you guys were onto a good thing.
So here's the thing.
Who would not love hot chocolate blended up with ice cream?
I mean, seriously.
So easy.
All you need is a little bit of powder, ice cream, milk.
This is absolutely delicious.
No matter what your favorite dessert is, cherry pie, banana pudding, a s'more, there is something
here for everyone.
I absolutely love milkshakes, and I know you guys do too, so let me know in the comments
below what other flavors you would like to see.
And I will see you back here next week for more Bigger Bolder Baking.
