Hi, it's Pat Patterson with the Best Los Angeles Award and I'm here at the Napa Valley Grill with the City Talk event. It's a fascinating evening, going to talk to a lot of people. Stick with us. And I'm here with Mike Stoller, who's a famous songwriter, Lieber and Stoller. Mike, what do you want to hear tonight from Mark? I want to hear how to dump Trump because it's so important. And I noticed you've got your button, your dump Trump button. At the City Talk event and Priscilla, I just love the fact that this is an old-fashioned salon. I do, I agree. That's very well put. It is an old-fashioned salon. You get to meet, greet people, ask questions, talk about what's going on in the city and who's who and blow in like I just did with the wind. I grabbed you and said come talk to me. Very, very interesting. That's what's so great about this is you get to talk. After the guests talk, we get to ask all kinds of questions we've been wondering about forever, right? Yeah, and it's not a digital thing and it's local. Yes, it's local. It is local and it's good for us and I think there should be more of these because you really get to learn a lot. I mean, you're really educated and who's who, what's going on. And I love the intimacy of it. It's a small gathering and we get to talk about everything and meet new people. Yeah, it's an incredible mixture of different people. It's so great to be here. And you are a big fan of L.A. I mean, you have stayed loyal to our city and what is your favorite part of L.A. City? Oh my gosh, it's so diverse. I mean, I love everything about it. You can get any kind of food you want and especially now, the cuisine is outstanding. I mean, as you know, we're here at the Napa Valley Grill here in Westwood and I just love you have so many choices. I love you. There's so many places to go and so many cities close to us. I mean, I'm in Santa Barbara, I'm in San Diego, I'm in San Francisco. I mean, really, L.A. is just so diverse in so many ways. The people, great friends, great places to go. I can't say enough about it. And the weather is good except now. You can't. Right now, it's blowing like crazy and our sinuses are... It's windy. What is your specialty in terms of your astrology? I do two things. I specialize in the two real human desires, love and money. It's always those two things. How to get one or both. And we'll put it up on the thing. Do you see people in person or do you have an office I see people in person, but I don't see, but I speak to clients all over the world in 40 countries. Hi, it's Matt Pattison with the Best Los Angeles Award here at the City Talk. I'm here with legendary attorney Tom Mesereau who is giving the talk tonight. Tom, you've been a part of many controversial cases. Are you going to review a lot of that tonight? It depends on what people want. I'm going to sort of leave it up to the group to ask me what they want to ask me and I'll be happy to get into almost any area except maybe politics. Politics will just not fly these days. We've got so much going on. And in terms of activity that you're currently involved in, I know you do a lot of pro bono work. Well, the last 20 years I've gone to Alabama every year and done at least one pro bono homicide case, many of them death penalty cases. I'm still doing that. I'm in the process of getting admitted especially to practice so I can try a case in January. And then I have my usual, you know, combination of white collar and non-white collar cases, federal court, state court. I do medical board work. So I have a pretty diverse practice. It works out nicely. And isn't it great this kind of salon City Talk thing? We don't do this too much anymore. It's kind of a great idea. I think it's wonderful. I think in this age of a million different types of media modes you can go into, this is getting back to real stuff. I like it a lot. People talking to each other instead of texting. You bet.
