Any getting a front row seat at seeing
Amy Adams around town today,
she actually walked right where
we are here on Water Street.
It's not the only stop that she made.
Amy Adams walking with the beach
umbrella during one shot like they
were trying to create a scene of
what a typical beach town then
needing an umbrella of her own.
On this hot summer day,
there was a lot of people,
a lot of cameras,
a lot of umbrellas to keep shade over
people. Tell you the truth,
she looked like a normal person.
She was super nice.
She went to the side and talked
to people afterwards and in between
takes so she was she was really
great. Caroline Collins took this
photo of Adams as filming for her
new movie at the sea took over
many downtown Plymouth streets.
Collins was up close and personal
with her professional in the moment,
but then afterwards super engaging,
super personal ball with everyone
that was asking her questions
and talking with her.
Adams has popped up across the
South Shore playing a woman named
Laura who leaves rehab to live at
her parents vacation home and deal
with the career change. Brett
Goldstein, Daniel Levy and Rain Wilson.
Also headlining the film,
which shot scenes on Court Street today.
They took some pictures inside and
outside and said it may make the movie.
They're not sure many shots happening
right outside of the tasty restaurant.
While it disrupted business today,
the owner here hopes it pays off.
Everybody's hungry. Come on back.
Be honest, it is pretty cool.
I mean, if you don't give,
whether we're in the movie or not.
If you see the area that you watch
every day, it's kind of neat.
It was fun.
It really was. It was exciting.
Filming is expected to continue in the area.
No word on a release date.
At this point we're in Plymouth.
