How I Store My Gear! Hiking & Wild Camping Gear
Hi guys! So I've been having a little fiddle around and sorting out how I store my gear
because you know when it gets like in a million cupboards and just everywhere and you don't know
what's going on. So now it's all in the same place. I love it! It's like my own little gear shop so
I thought I'd show you around. Look at it all. Okay so this is actually my bedroom.
So we've got one side looks like this
and then the other side looks like this.
Okay so starting on this side we've got my big floofy blimp. My lovely rabs. I've got
all my sleeping bags at the top here. That's my first ever sleeping bag. Mountain Warehouse
Summit 250. I still love this sleeping bag. It's still nice for summer. It's just bulky now.
Fire fan and a rab. Then all this stuff on here, this is all cooking stuff and food. So
there's some hiking food and stuff here. Oh my god I love it. I just want to play with it.
A few hiking essentials. I've got my stoves and stuff here. So that's the bush box
and stuff to light that with. This is my hand warmer and matches and lighters and stuff.
This is the one I use most of the time. Microfiber cloths, a cleaning pad.
That's what I take out with me cooking stuff as well. Some other bits and bobs that I use now in
a game. My gas and zip lock bags and all sorts of different stuff like baby food pouches.
These you can put food in, reheat it in a bottle of water. Little pots,
little bags for herbs and stuff. Little dodgy herb bags you know.
So this one I've got my bandannery things and a cap. Sleeping mats, thermos. I've actually got
two thermos but one of them stays in my rucksack ready packed and that's my little summer
mat. A little spare pillow. Dry bags I'm not using at the moment. Tent pegs,
loads of spare tent pegs. Snow tent pegs, snow stakes which I haven't used yet but they're there
if I get to. Tent light, spare head torch. George usually ends up using that one.
Oh yeah we've got our rucksacks here as well. Well my main rucksack is here.
Okay that's my overnight bag but then we've got, this is George's overnight bag which used to be
mine, it's now his. This is my day bag and that one is George's day bag. So in my rucksack I keep
some stuff sort of ready to go. Tent pegs and stuff. Got a bit of tarp for the tent vestibule
and the rest. That's the foil mat. That's my tent in there. So I keep all that stuff
in there ready and then when I'm going out I just sort of put the other bits in as well.
This is my electronics bag. So that's my head torch.
That's like a selfie phone light for filming at night time. Anker power bank.
Always have one of these in with my electronics because if it's raining
and you've got wet hands you can sort of just dry your hands before you touch your
electronic stuff. Here we've got some toiletry stuff. Toothpaste, earplugs, spare little pots
and stuff. Really handy. Socks, hats, my little neck warmer, fleecy stuff. This is what I use to
waterproof my waterproofs. Rangers. Spray it over, seems to work pretty well. Waterproof
rucksack, waterproof cover and these are all gloves and stuff. Different kinds of gloves.
This here is my 10 litre waste bag which I love. This is what I put all my filming stuff in.
So I've actually got my drone is in there and this that I'm holding now sort of hooks in
the bit at the side. My Osmo gimbal and that's some filming electronics there as well. Charging
stuff. Ice axe and crampons. If I ever get to go to North Wales again. This is just some sort of
bags and stuff. Maps. Gate address. Miss these places man. Snowdon. One day get back. Water
stuff. So water filled stuff although it's all packed up in my rucksack most of it but
there's a little table there. Hiking table and that's Bob Dog's stuff down there. So yeah
awesome isn't it. Love it. Walking poles. Me and George. Got my neck knife. Mora hour dress.
That little knife. Then in this cupboard I've got like just some of our thermals and waterproofs
things like that. My coat. Bow and arrow and a crossbow. So that's how I store my stuff.
I love it. Where do you store your stuff? Let me know in the comments. If you live with someone
do you drive them nuts with all your gear everywhere? This is why I love living just
me and George because he doesn't care about my stuff and I get to turn my bedroom into an amazing
gear warehouse. So yay. Hope you enjoyed that and I will see you again soon. Bye.
