James Webb Space Telescope is a space telescope. It is named after James E. Webb, who was the administrator of NASA from 1961 to 1968.
James Webb Space Telescope was launched in December 2021 after more than a decade of construction and cost 10 billion dollars.
James Webb Space Telescope weighs 6500 kg with a 14x21 meter sunshade, equivalent to the size of a tennis court. The telescope can see through the infrared spectrum.
