Founded in Egypt during his campaigns, Alexandria survived its founder and eventually became one of the greatest cities of the ancient Mediterranean — a center of commerce, scholarship, literature, science, and culture.

In Episode 10 of The Dreamoria, we explore Alexandria and the wider Hellenistic world that emerged after Alexander's conquests. Greek and Egyptian traditions met, merchants crossed its harbor, scholars gathered, and ideas moved across languages and cultures.

Alexander could not control every consequence of his conquests. But his campaigns connected regions that had once been separated by political boundaries, creating a world that would continue long after his death.
