Yann Camus from https://blissclimbing.com/en/online-courses/ posted a question about quick links in his video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A69FgeaajE&t= . He asked why climbing quick links are all rated 10kn when they are cross loaded. As we can see in this video the quick links don't fail at 10kn but they become irreversibly damaged.
