GRWM for the first day of school 6 15am morning routine

Okay, so it is the night before the first day of school tomorrow. I am absolutely shattered. I had cheer tonight from 6 to 8.30, so I am honestly ready for bed. The last thing I just want to do is pack my school bag. I'm reusing the same school bag that I used last year, which is just this like urban tote. And since we haven't got our timetables yet, literally the only thing that I'm going to be putting in my bag is just like a folder. My pencil case, which is just this like little navy one. And then for school this year, I'm using the Glossier water bottle, which I will fill up tomorrow morning. It's early for literally like before summer started. My body is not used to waking up this early. But today is the first day of school. I'm going to go make myself a quick coffee before I do anything to wake up. Okay, so I'm just going to start off with a bit of skincare. Oh my god, I'm so tired. But in the mornings, I just wash my face and then use hyaluronic acid from The Ordinary. And then the CeraVe, CeraVe moisturizer. The lighting in this room is so bad. Okay, I have a feeling I'm going to be late, so I'm just going to go ahead and start with makeup now. Because otherwise I always stress out like two minutes before I have to leave. Basically for school, my makeup routine comes down to like whatever I have time for. What time I wake up for that day. Because it's the first day of school, I'm going to try and look semi-decent today. But I've never really got into the habit of doing a full face of makeup. I'll normally just do concealer and like a few other bits. I feel like it's going to be cute watching back on my little get ready with me for the first day of school videos. I was watching back my last one the other day and I was like, I was so cringe. I think that's the one thing about having a YouTube channel. Like every time I look back on a video, I'm just like, Jesus Christ, like how did you guys watch me? Like my videos used to be so bad. I'm also quite like a quick get ready, get readier like in school mornings. In the summer holidays, I love to take my time. Like I don't know if I did a summer morning routine this year. I think I did. I'll give myself so long just to wake up. But on school days, I like to sleep in for as long as possible. Today I woke up at 6.15 just because I knew I had to vlog and also because it was the first day of school. So I wanted to be more prepared. Honestly, this year I'm trying to get the most amount of sleep possible. But you know what? I'm actually pretty excited for the first day back because we don't get our timetable till we actually go back to school. And I'm also excited to see like all my school friends, like people you don't really see outside of school, but they're good friends like in school and just get back to like a routine because although summer's been nice, I feel like I'm quite a routine person. And that is basically all the makeup I'll do for school. The lighting at the moment is so bad, so you can't even see. I've actually been pretty unorganized going back to school this year, which is not great. And that's why I'm sorry about the lack of back to school content. But because I'm going into year 11 now, which is like a GCSE year, I think when I go back to school, I'm just going to have to like, it's going to be a lot of work. So there's going to be a lot of study vlogs coming. Unfortunately, we're not actually allowed necklaces in our school. So I have to take my necklace off before I go. And then I just have some like plain silver studs in because that's all we're allowed. I like to just keep it simple, you know what I'm saying? Shit. All right, let's get it. I wanted to leave brushing my teeth till after breakfast, just because I hate having food like in my mouth before I go to school. Also, I left my normal toothbrush at my friend's house after sleepover. So I've been using the manual for a while. But yeah, it's now 7.27. I have to leave by like 7.28, 7.29 latest because my bus gets there at 7.33. So I'm just praying that I don't miss my bus on my first day, because I think that's such an Amy thing to do. Anyway, that is sort of like a get ready with me on a school morning. It's a little bit more hectic and more rushed than like a normal one of my summer morning routines. I hope you guys still enjoyed. I can't believe I'm in my final year of secondary. It's kind of crazy. And then next year I'm going sixth form. But yeah, I love you all. I'm going to go now so I don't miss my bus. And I hope you all had an amazing first day at school too. I'll see you later.
