How to make Ebi Fry (Fried Shrimp) & Salmon Katsu 〜エビフライ＆シャケカツ〜 | easy Japanese home cooking recipe
In this video, I am showing how to make Ebi Fry and Salmon Katsu, both typical Frying dishes in Japan. Ebi Fry is a deep fried shrimp/prawn (with bread crumbs), one of a local dish of my town Nagoya.
In my Channel, I show step by step of alternative but authentic Japanese home cooking, which can be made with the ingredients that are easily available outside of Japan.
Ingredients for Ebi Fry & Salmon Katsu
Ebi Fry & Salmon Katsu:
- Shrimp/Prawn 3-5 pcs
- Salmon 100-200 g
- Salt & Pepper a pinch each
- Flour 50 g
- Egg 1/2
- Panko 100 g
(Japanese style bread crumbs)
Tartar sauce (Japanese style):
- Hard boiled egg 1
- Onion 1/4
- Cornichon pickles 2-3 pcs
(optional)
- Mayonnaise 3-4 Tbsp
- Parceley leaves a pinch
- Lemon juice 1/4
- Pepper a pinch
