In my Channel, I show authentic but alternative Japanese home cooking, which can be make with the ingredients available outside of Japan.

In this video, I am cooking Kimpira, which is a typical and easy Japanese side dish. It is sautéed vegetable (sometime with meat) seasoned with sugar and soy sauce, and often garnished with sesame seeds.

Ingredients for Kimpira (for 2-4 persons)
Carrot 1
Daikon (white radish) 1/4 - 1/2
Sugar 1 Tbsp
Sake 1 Tbsp
Soy sauce 1 Tbsp
Sesame oil 1 Tsp
Chilli pepper 1 Tsp
Sesame 1 Tbsp
