WINTER in the BAVARIAN ALPS - Living in a snowy Fairytale

There is nothing more stunning than a snowy mountain landscape. Hey friends, I hope you're all fine. Michael and I went on a hike in the snowy Bavarian Alps, near our place in the South German countryside. The snow looked like cotton candy on the spruce trees. It was the most enchanting fairytale land. It's a snowy fairyland here. I feel so enchanted. I mean, it's just 30 kilometers away from my parents' place, but there is so much more snow. And in a city where I study, it's 130 kilometers away from here. There's probably no snow at all, so I'm very lucky that I'm here at the moment. After some time, we reached a viewpoint over the mountain lake called Alpsee. We enjoyed the spectacular view with a cup of hot rosehip tea. Mountains are majestic giant gods with wisdom of ancient eras. During winter, they dress in a graceful white coat to protect the living beings on their back from the freezing cold winds that sing the giants and their residents to sleep, to bring them a quiet time of rest. To wander through the winter fairyland of the giants gives you the feeling of being small, but also safe on this magical earth. Thank you, Giants of the Alps, for having us.
