Life in the GERMAN COUNTRYSIDE - September Harvest and Winter Preparations - Bavarian COTTAGE VLOG

Hey friends, I hope you're all fine. Summer has finally come to an end. Now the most magical time of the year begins. Autumn. Though I was busy obtaining as many nature goodies I could find to preserve them for the winter or enjoy them right away. What I really love about this time of the year is the gently warming September sun. I could spend hours in it absorbing the vitamin D and the joy it brings for the last time before the dark season arrives. And all that without getting sunburned as it is so soft. I also visited my grandparents to join them with their apple harvest. I'm not a sucker for apples throughout the year but fresh ones from the tree is something to die for. 🎶 And hey, our first potatoes were ready this day. I heard the birds from the neighbor's yard Calling out from the sliding glass door I saw the bedsheets freeze I felt the floorboard scream I pulled the story out of fiction I planned on making jam with those apples So I can open a jar in the winter To feel blessed by nature's generosity also then What does September look like in your country?
