Hey my friends, how are you?
As you know, my dear friend Kim visited me in Augsburg two weeks ago
when we filmed the Makrami video.
And besides that, we also had a beautiful weekend in the city.
So I want to show you now what we did there.
I also want to present the city of Augsburg to you as it is a very diverse
German student city that also played an important role in the European history.
Kim arrived on Friday evening.
We had the great idea to put my chain of lights and a candle on the balcony and it was
beautiful.
So we first had our best girlfriend's talk in this lovely atmosphere.
On Saturday, we made our Makrami plant hangers in the morning.
Then we took the tram into the city center.
I love Augsburg. I mean with
300,000 inhabitants, it's not too big, but you still find everything you need there.
It also is a cool and diverse place.
You have big forests and nature reserves right next to the city.
You find traditional Bavarian restaurants next door to the hip vegan food places we love to go to.
You have small potteries besides common stores that are located in most cities.
And there are all these beautiful little waters
forming a net through the city.
Augsburg got the world heritage status for its medieval water systems last year.
The city had a lot of power in the early modern age,
as it was the trading center of central Europe when orient trade over land was common.
You may know the name Jacob Fugger as he was the richest man that ever has existed.
He made Augsburg very wealthy and the city demonstrated its power with the big city hall
built in renaissance style.
In the big boulevard called Maxstrasse,
fountains already have existed by that time.
For that they pumped water up in water towers to create a gradient.
Also the houses in Maxstrasse,
where all the rich people lived, had running water and that was definitely not common back then.
So guys, we wanted to show you what we bought on our girls shopping trip.
Yeah, should I start? Yes. Okay. I bought these little cocktail glitter sticks.
I hope you can see them.
Really, yeah, glittery.
Glitter is always good. Yeah.
So then I bought a little towel to clean up my bathroom.
Yeah, then I also bought a bigger towel to dry up my body.
Okay, and then a carpet in the same color, also for my bathroom.
And two different cutting boards.
Yeah.
Yeah, you just bought useful adult things.
Because I bought just clothes, but I mean, look at this. It's so beautiful, cute, and I love it.
Like a fairy.
Very cute.
This cute white thing. Yeah, I love it also so much, and I bought this cool pants.
Very nice.
Yeah, that was our little shopping haul. I hope you enjoyed.
And now we will make dinner and then we go to the balcony and have a glass of wine.
It will be a very nice girls evening. Yes, for sure.
Sunday morning before Kim left,
we made elderflower pancakes as she had seen my video and wanted to try them.
The most beautiful pictures.
Thanks for watching my loves.
