Beautifully Folding a Fitted Sheet in under a Minute Flat

Hi, this is Dirt Farmer Maggie from DirtFarmerJ.com and today we're going to talk about folding
a fitted sheet. I don't know if that was a mystery to you, but it was a mystery to me
for many years. Now I'll show you how Dirt Farmer Jay likes to fold a fitted sheet. He
just sort of does this, kind of wads it up and says, there it is. Yeah, well, that's
Dirt Farmer Jay's fold. Dirt Farmer Maggie's fold is a little bit different and I think
a little bit better. So I'm guessing that you wouldn't have clicked on this video to
watch it if you weren't also interested in getting it folded up properly. So the first
thing you need to do is find the either top or bottom corners of the sheet. In other words,
the two corners that are closest together. So this I believe is, nope, I was going to
fold the side. Here we go. Two corners and you can see that I found the seams here. I've
got my fingers up in the corner and I've got the seams. So I'm going to just put those
together. I'm going to grab with my right hand and I'm going to fold over with my left
hand. So then I'll kind of shake it out here a bit and you can see that now we've got one
corner folded. So then I'm going to switch hands, put my left hand up in here, making
sure I keep those together. Then I'm just going to follow my seams down and I can grab
with my left hand, turn it inside out so I get them together. And you can see there's
where that tag is, that's where one of the seams are. And there's a seam on the back
side so I'm just going to stick my hand in here. Make sure I have both corners, my fingers
right up there in the corner. So now I've got both corners together. Now all I'm going
to do is the same thing again, put the two seams together, grab with my right hand, fold
over with my left hand. Now we have all of it folded up together. So I'm going to kind
of lay it down on the table. I'm going to try to get it into as much of a rectangle
as we can. Straighten it out. There we go. Now I'm just going to fold it over. Now I'm
going to fold it up and then give it a roll. And there you have a fitted sheet folded in
a much more stackable shape to stack on your linen closet shelf. Put your straight sheet
on top of it and your pillowcases and you're all set. So that's how to fold a fitted sheet.
