NEW WINDSOR – Democratic State Assemblyman Chris Eachus of New Windsor won reelection on Tuesday to continue serving most of eastern Orange County and Stony Point in Rockland County.
Eachus plans to continue championing the efforts of those in emergency services – police, fire and EMS personnel.
“We know with the economic times the way they currently are the municipalities need all the help they can get from the state to forego these costs for those – some volunteer, some paid services,” he said.
Eachus said he also wants to continue the effort to rein in the rising costs of healthcare and other services.
