CENTRAL VALLEY – State Senator James Skoufis, a Democrat from Cornwall, easily won reelection for the 42nd District on Election Day.
Skoufis, who before being elected to the Senate, was a member of the State Assembly, said he will continue to dedicate all of his efforts to his constituents.
“My main job is, every single day, is doing what is right for Orange County and New York State, and if that means standing up to the federal government, if that means standing up to my own party, I will do that,” he told Mid-Hudson News.
Skoufis said his office will continue to work on the many challenges facing the state and nation.
