NEW ROCHELLE – A 35-year-old New Rochelle woman has been arrested for operating illegal video-style slot machines.

Authorities seized four of those machines in a private room in the back of the Union Avenue Sports Bar during a nighttime raid last Friday.

Gissell Lopez, 35, was charged with four counts of possession of a gambling device and one count of promoting gambling.

She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to city court.

Police said the business will be referred to the State Liquor Authority for several violations and license review.
