KINGSTON – A pedestrian who was walking at the intersection of Broadway and Liberty Street in the City of Kingston has been hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver.

City Police said the victim of the 11:50 p.m. incident on Saturday, August 1 was taken to HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston and later transferred to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, suffering from serious injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information about the identity of the driver to call Det. Jason Charest at 845-943-5740.
