PLATTEKILL – State Police have arrested a Cornwall man on a charge of grand larceny for allegedly filing fraudulent insurance claims about electronics.

During the investigation, police determined that Marc King, 41, was in possession of electronic devices and filed several insurance claims through several accounts claiming the devices were damaged or defective. He requested replacement devices, received them but never returned the defective or damaged devices.

King was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in Kingston pending a future court appearance.
