ORANGE COUNTY – The has launched Orange County Business Pulse, a new Business Retention & Expansion (BR&E) initiative designed to reconnect with businesses throughout Orange County, strengthen relationships with local employers, and gain firsthand insight into the opportunities and challenges shaping the region’s economy. The initiative is outlined in the Partnership’s new Business Pulse brochure.
Through Orange County Business Pulse, Partnership staff will visit companies across the county to listen, learn, and better understand each business’s current needs and plans.
Conversations will focus on topics such as workforce recruitment and retention, infrastructure and utility support, expansion opportunities, business climate conditions, and connections to local and state partners.
“Our job doesn’t end once a company chooses Orange County,” said Conor Eckert, president and CEO of the Orange County Partnership. “Business Pulse is about reconnecting with the companies that have invested in our community, understanding where they’re headed next, and making sure they know they have a partner they can call when opportunities or challenges arise. These conversations also help us better advocate for the infrastructure, workforce and business climate improvements that will keep Orange County competitive.”
As Business Pulse visits continue, the Partnership will identify common themes and trends affecting employers across Orange County, helping inform future economic development strategies and advocacy efforts.
Businesses interested in scheduling an Orange County Business Pulse visit are encouraged to contact the Orange County Partnership.
