PORT JERVIS – The Port Jervis railroad turntable, one of the last remnants of the golden age of that city’s transportation hub, may see new life breathed into it.

The which is undergoing restoration, could wind up in the western Orange County city, said County Economic Development Director Steven Gross.

“They are looking to potentially redo the roundhouse, have a brewery-restaurant, where the steam engine would come in and you would be able to. You would be able to leave for dinner, tours, murder-mystery dinners and be able to enjoy some of those opportunities,” he said.

Gross said discussions are in the very early stages.
