KINGSTON – The Ulster County grand jury has indicted two men on charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and weapons possession, all related to the murder of DJ Thomas in front of his Kingston residence.
On October 24, 2019, Wilbur Reese, 55, of Monticello, and Dushan Wilson, 37, of Albany are charged with the Thomas murder outside his Prospect Street home where he was shot in the face.
“This investigation was intensely pursued by the Kingston Police Department with assistance from the Major Crimes Division and Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team of the New York State Police for almost seven years,” said District Attorney Emmanuel Nneji.
He pointed to the resources committed to the investigation by Kingston Det. Vincent Laspina.
