DUTCHESS COUNTY – The Dutchess County Board of Elections is looking for entries for its “I Voted” sticker design contest, inviting youth artists aged 9 to 18 to submit an original “I Voted” sticker design. The winning design must fit on a 2-inch sticker, include the words “I Voted” prominently and legibly, and must not include any political messaging, candidate names, or party logos.
“I know many voters have looked at our friends across the river in Ulster with envy over their sticker contest,” said Lisa Jessup, Democratic Elections Commissioner. “So we are very excited to have our own homegrown ‘I Voted’ stickers right here in Dutchess.” The finalists will be chosen by a panel including members of the arts community, along with Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino, Dutchess County Comptroller Dan Aymar Blair and Chair of the Dutchess County Legislature Yvette Valdés Smith.
After the finalists are selected, there will be an online vote to decide the winner.
The deadline for submissions is May 29, and entries must be emailed to .
