Prime Minister Andrew Holness is urging

Jamaicans living overseas in the diaspora, especially working-age Jamaicans and skilled/talented people who could return to live, work, invest, and help build the country. Holness has been framed as saying Jamaica needs its people back, not just for economics and labour, but also in the context of the country’s falling birth rate.
