California — Kim Kardashian Explains the Intentional Casting Decision Behind Her Role in ‘All’s Fair’
Kim Kardashian is opening up about her experience working on Hulu’s All’s Fair as she promotes the show’s second season alongside her co-stars Niecy Nash-Betts and Naomi Watts.
The 46-year-old reality star turned actress appeared on The View, wearing a dress by Paco Rabanne for the interview, which aired on Thursday (November 5).
During the conversation, Kim discussed her experience collaborating with Ryan Murphy and explained why he deliberately surrounded her with some of the industry’s most acclaimed actresses, including Niecy Nash-Betts, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, and Teyana Taylor.
Kim believes the casting decision was designed to give her the best possible opportunity to succeed while learning from her fellow performers.
“I think he was intentional in setting me up for success by surrounding me with, like, the best of the best actors in the world that I could learn from, but that, like, I could, you know, hide behind if I needed to because they are so amazing,” Kim said.
Naomi quickly disagreed with the suggestion that Kim needed to hide behind her co-stars, praising the progress she made throughout the production.
“You did not hide, girl,” Naomi said. “From how she started on day one to how she ended up on the last day of season two, we were watching, you know. You just grew and expanded in extraordinary ways.”
Niecy also shared her admiration for Kim’s performance, emphasizing how impressed the cast was with her work.
“You brought your A game, baby. We were all so impressed with you,” Niecy said.
