I don’t know what happened last night, but it looks like the weather up North got drunk, lost its bearings, and wandered straight into my backyard.

Cold air? Check.
Wind that has no respect for personal space? Check.
Weather that clearly does not belong here? Absolutely.

Look, we don’t mind a little seasonal change. We’re reasonable people. But this feels less like a normal weather pattern and more like someone up there left the door open and forgot to bring their mess back inside.

So I’m respectfully asking—actually, I’m begging—can some of y’all come down here and collect your weather? Please take it back to where it belongs. We don’t need these polar cold snaps, sideways rain, or temperatures that make you question your life choices when you step outside.

Down here, we’re built for mild winters and the occasional dramatic storm—not whatever this confused forecast decided to do today. One minute it feels like winter, the next it feels like it’s reconsidering, and none of it makes sense.

Mother Nature clearly needs a GPS, and maybe a reminder of state lines.

Until then, we’ll be over here layering clothes we weren’t emotionally prepared to wear and shaking our heads at a forecast that looks like it was thrown together last minute.

North—come get your weather.
Signed,
All of us who didn’t ask for this.
