Rashid Towaim Ali Al Marri, winner of the CSI5* 1.40m Two Phases:

“This is my first five-star here, and I’m really happy with how my mare felt tonight. Last year I wasn’t fully sure where we were, so this time I came with a clear focus. I stepped things up, and Navaronne answered in the best way, she was really good. Now the goal is to keep building on this start and enjoy the week.”

Abdulla Alsharbatly, winner of CSI5* 1.50m Faults & Times:

“The plan is simple: we’ll just do our best. We’ll focus on tomorrow, and of course the Grand Prix. And we’ll keep doing our best for the rest of the week.”
