TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – Creek Road near the Town/City of Poughkeepsie line at Morgan Lake is closed to traffic Saturday night while emergency personnel are involved in a standoff in the area of 16 Creek Road. The incident began just after 6 p.m. on December 6, 2025.
Initial reports indicate that the Arlington Fire Department and an EMS unit were asked to stage in the area of 16 Creek Road for a “child trauma” emergency. Police secured the scene, and the child was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with firefighters on board to assist.
Additional fire and EMS units responded to the scene to operate with the Town of Poughkeepsie police as they deal with a barricaded subject.
