Now in today's video I'm going to talk about when a narcissist
re-values the person that they were involved with.
Now you may be aware of the cycle of abuse that comes with a narcissist and a relationship with
So first of all it will be love bombing where they will make you feel like the most beautiful,
most incredible person in the world. They will flatter you all the time.
They will pretend to be this amazing person. Then you get involved with them and you're
in a relationship with them and once you start relaxing they will start treating you badly.
They will start abusing you. They will start showing their true colours.
And you will constantly hope in that time that the narcissist goes back to the loving
and caring person that they were at the beginning of the relationship.
As time goes on they will stay in a relationship with you and then one day they will get to the
point where they are constantly making you feel horrible about yourself.
Where they are constantly criticising you. Where they are constantly devaluing you.
And in the end they will find a better partner and they will completely
discard you. They will not find anything important about you anymore.
You won't be valuable to them anymore. But in this video I want to talk about
what makes a narcissist re-value you. If they've already discarded you
and already thrown you away like a piece of trash.
A narcissist may not have anybody in their life anymore.
It may be that the new person that they found in their life
actually ended the relationship with them. And they will be left feeling really horrible.
Because they won't have anyone to give them the narcissistic supply that they need.
So they may come back to you. They may re-value you.
They may find positives. Or it may be that they see that you are now
really successful, really happy. Maybe you've got a really good new career.
Or maybe you are in a relationship. And they start feeling really envious.
They start wishing that they hadn't broken up with you.
Because actually they missed out on all of this amazing stuff that they are seeing now.
And they will start slowly hoovering back to you.
The thing is, when a narcissist does this, it doesn't mean that they've changed.
It doesn't mean that they're going to be a better partner to you.
They just want something from you. And that is why they will re-value you and come back.
If you suddenly have power or status, they will want you back in their life again.
They will generally leech onto you when there is something in it for them.
They will also circle back and re-value you if they
feel that you are actually going to give them the admiration that they are missing.
Because they currently don't have this in their life.
Anything at all that you're willing to give them is going to help them feel better about themselves.
It's going to give them that narcissistic supply that they are so desperately needing.
Anything at all that increases your value is going to entice an ex-narcissist back into your life.
And it's as simple as that.
That is the end of the video. It was just a quick one today.
Thank you so much for watching and for listening.
And I'll see you very soon in my next video.
Take care.
Bye-bye.
