How Not To Be Hypnotized
Welcome, I'm Nikki Sutton. I hope you're very well indeed.

and check out my book Consciousness Rising,
guiding you through spiritual awakening and beyond, available everywhere.
I'd taken a little break from speaking videos just to gather my thoughts
and to concentrate on my meditation channel, links in the description.
So let's jump straight in.
Ways they use to hypnotize you into doing what they want.
Some of you may know who they are, and some of you may not.
So let's just say it's the hidden hand, those who control the mainstream media,
all large corporations and most industries.
Media manipulation happens to get you to think a certain way,
take desired actions, to sell you something,
or to get you to curtail your own freedoms via your own free will.
It's much easier to implement a coercive system of control and manipulation
for the benefit of the few if you comply via your own free will,
rather than being made to do anything.
So as a hypnosis practitioner,
I can very well observe hypnosis methods being used on the many.
Obviously, these techniques are not used with sinister intention during hypnotherapy,
they're simply used to help someone into a hypnotic state for the purpose of healing therapy.
But once under hypnosis, as you may well know,
people become very suggestive as the subconscious mind is dominant in a hypnotic state,
and it accepts suggestion and instruction very readily
without the filter of the conscious mind there for discernment.
This is why hypnotherapists perform their practice with a code of ethics
and with the highest intentions.
Some people are more susceptible to hypnosis than others,
some are highly susceptible, and others not at all.
But once you recognise these techniques being used in the mainstream,
in the media, and see that you're being led,
you're no longer susceptible and begin to question what you are being fed.
Hence, I provide this list of methods that they use so that you can recognise it,
and snap yourself out of it.
Open your eyes, if you will.
If you're already immune, then you can give yourself a pat on the back.
Some of the following techniques are not used by hypnotherapists, by the way,
yet we are aware that they exist.
So number one on ways that they hypnotise you is confusion.
People can be confused into a hypnotic state.
Their conscious decision-making mind goes offline
as their subconscious becomes increasingly confused
and gives up trying to discern what is real and what is not.
This can occur, for example, when one thing is said by authority figures,
perhaps in the media, then the complete opposite is stated,
and then they do the complete opposite again, perhaps when implementing policy.
So that was confusion.
Number two on ways that they hypnotise you is overload.
We have the capacity to process about seven pieces of information at one time
before becoming overloaded.
That's why we tend to try to address one thing at a time.
We can only think about one thing at a time,
but can deal with only about seven concurrent things going on
until we become overloaded and enter a suggestible hypnotic state.
Hence, becoming overloaded by media bombardment
or what's going on out there in the world of current affairs to excess
can literally hypnotise us.
Notice how we are constantly bombarded,
often with the same messages over and over.
We become overloaded.
Best to take a break from it.
Okay, so number three on ways that they hypnotise us,
and that's shock.
When someone is shocked by something they find traumatic,
even mildly traumatic,
they enter a hypnoidal state.
This may be due to impending doom or danger
or some kind of threat to the self or loved ones,
perhaps to do with health or others' behaviour,
resulting in fear.
So we enter a mild state of hypnosis.
Fear literally puts you into a suggestible state,
allowing you to believe programming you wouldn't normally believe
or to accept instructions you wouldn't generally comply with.
Hypnotherapists don't use such a technique, of course,
yet we are aware of its effects.
Number four on ways that they hypnotise you is focus.
When you're focused solely on one thing
and doing very little thinking for yourself,
you enter a mild state of hypnosis.
So in watching television or reading an article,
you enter this state.
If you observe someone watching the television or browsing social media,
you'll see them staring at the screen,
just staring, right?
They're under a mild hypnosis
and open to suggestion and programming.
Therefore, the delivery methods for mainstream media
naturally lend themselves to being easily absorbable.
So those are ways that we can enter hypnosis.
But what next?
How do they actually get their messages across?
So these are ways that we become programmed with concepts,
perspectives, perceptions and actions to take.
And trust me, they know how to do this.
They know these methods
and you can observe them for yourself going on.
So number one on how they do the programming is repetition.
The subconscious mind accepts suggestion through repetition.
You may notice a lot of this in the mainstream
and it's not by accident.
Concepts are repeated over and over, often as mantras.
The rule of three often applies as well,
where a mantra will have three aspects to it
and is repeated constantly.
Just note now that the algorithm will pick up what I say
as an example outright.
Okay, so I have to be careful how I word things,
but there's a mantra involving three aspects.
Here's one involving hands,
involving faith
and involving space.
Another containing just three words would be to build
and then back and then better.
Repeated across the world by many leaders
who are all in the same club.
This is done intentionally, better for them
and not for the masses, by the way.
Okay, so number two on how they actually do the programming
under hypnosis is social acceptability.
New social norms are set up for compliance
that make everyday actions unacceptable.
Actions which would represent normal everyday freedoms
such as walking into a restaurant
without certain conditions being met
or to coerce you into taking other actions
like to have some kind of physical intervention
performed on your body.
Obviously, I can't mention that here.
The social norms would be, for example,
that you are selfish or dangerous for not complying
or for criticizing said measures.
Most people keep quiet and don't dare to question all this
because it's now socially unacceptable to do so.
This causes division within society,
which is what they want
and peer pressure is a great marketing technique.
I also have a degree in marketing, by the way,
so I know all about that
and what an eye-opener that was.
Appealing to your emotions is another marketing technique
and they do that a lot.
Fear is a great motivator.
So number three on ways that we end up programmed
while under hypnosis is distraction.
When you're under hypnosis,
your attention is very easily led to places
of very little consequence.
Being under hypnosis feels good.
It's that relaxed state where you can escape
into whatever you're watching or browsing.
You go there because it feels cozy and warm and nice
but you end up being distracted from truth,
distracted from self-development,
the expansion of consciousness,
awakening,
real-world positive development
and perhaps developments in the world that are suppressed
that you could be involved in
but you're distracted by a narrative
woven by a few for their own selfish ends.
So you can be distracted from doing good things in the world.
Number four on ways that we end up programmed
under hypnosis is truisms.
Truisms are statements that anyone can agree with.
For example, we all want to feel safe.
So that's a statement that we all agree with.
So you can agree with that
and get into the mindset of agreeing.
Following this, concepts would be presented to you
that you might not necessarily agree with
but you're now under hypnosis and in the mood for agreeing.
And number five on ways that we end up programmed
once we're under hypnosis,
similar to truisms are yes, yes statement.
This is where in the media,
be it news, advertising or anything else,
they'll repeat a lot of statements to you
which you would say yes to
until they repeat one you wouldn't normally agree with
and you end up mentally saying yes to it within your mind.
Agreeing with it.
For example, we must protect this.
We must improve that.
We should implement this.
Then follows are further measures to be implemented
which to a discerning mind would be unacceptable
but you end up being more likely to agree
because you're already saying yes, yes, yes.
All right.
So generally under hypnosis,
you're more likely to accept anything.
Spiritually, this has terrible implications
because we're not able to be our true selves.
In addition, when all of the facts are not presented to us
by our sources of information,
the ones we trust,
we're being deceived and led away from our true will.
This is an infringement on free will really
but they don't like to infringe on our free will
because they end up accumulating karma.
That's why all this manipulation tends to happen
and it's much easier to make a population do what they want
if they're agreeing with it than if they're fighting back.
So these few powerful controllers
tend to limit their karmic imprint
by revealing the truth somewhere here and there
within their controlled outlets of information
even if it's hard to find
but more people need to know
to at least look at alternative sources.
Happily, as I said,
once you're aware of the process of conditioning,
you can instantly snap out of it
and remind yourself to snap out of it
if you become swept up in it again.
Your energies are sacred and important to your well-being
and your attention is energy.
So don't give your attention and energies
over freely to these sources.
One powerful asset we have is our free will.
They build up terrible karma by infringing on this
and that's why they employ hypnosis techniques
because we only enter collective hypnosis willingly.
Usually unknowingly but willingly.
So thanks so much for listening.
