Urban Golf , Lockdown target practice in the wild

Hello and welcome to the Tattooed Golfer YouTube channel. My name's Owen as you already know and if you're new here, you're in for a treat because this is the start of something new. For a while now I've been pondering on the way and the direction I want my channel to go. I love the game of golf and it is what this channel is all about but I'm not a club reviewer, I'm not good enough to teach people but I still want to have my place in the golf YouTube world. I've had the idea for months, I've just not put it into play but today is the day where I'm going to start something a little bit different. I'm still going to be doing my course vlogs with Lee, Graham, Sean, my brother but today is the start of what I like to call Urban Golf. Urban Golf's an idea that I've had for quite a while. I've told Lee, Golf Nuts and Graham G Mack about it but I've never put it into play but I think now with what's going on in the world, I think it's time for me to start and show you what I can actually do with a camera and how creative I can be. So Urban Golf, there's a lot of places in the country and around the world that are empty like where I am today. It's a beautiful place so what I'm going to do, I had the idea and I'm still figuring little bits of how to actually do it but this is the start and to get your feedback what I'm going to do is I'm going to set up little par 3's all around in these crazy places and these beautiful places. I'm going to have guests on, I've got my brother who wants to play, I've already spoke to Lee and Graham about doing it in places where they live and I think it's going to be something a little bit different and with the way I know I can edit and stuff will stand out. So yeah that's what I'm going to do and today I'm going to do my first ever one. It might not be the best, I haven't got a range finder or anything today but when I do have one we'll be able to get the exact distances and stuff like that. So let's get straight into it, I hope you enjoy it. Right so I'm down here somewhere in Bolton near where I live literally a five minute walk away from where I live so this is my exercise for today. There's nobody about so let's figure out what we're going to do. I've had a quick look and I think here where this open space is I think this is going to be my green for today. We need to find somewhere we'll mark it out a little bit and find a flag and let's get cracking. Right first things first we need a flag. Right found a dead bit of bamboo I think Right so that area all in there that's going to be my green. Got some obstacles in the way, got a tree. I'm going to put my tee over that way. It's going to be quite tricky because I haven't got a range finder but I'm going to put my tee down there somewhere. I'm going to have to paint it out. I think that'll do for today. Don't know why people litter in places like this but we've got a flag. Right I've got my hole set up let's get to the tee box and there's the first tee. The flag's fell down but we're going to carry on. Three shots left. Well that didn't really go to plan. The flag fell over. I don't know if it's recording but this is just the first attempt and like the first trial to have a little practice so let's see where we ended up. Green's there, I don't think I've done too bad. I've got one just short of the green, one on the green, that's two, we've got three on the green, four, five, six, seven, look at that, eight and then at the back of the green, nine, ten. I've got ideas of getting a roll-up carpet that we can have as a green so we can put it anywhere, a little patch of proper fake grass to do with the tee box, obviously with a rangefinder so we can have an exact distance and hit more than just a 52 degree in some places. So yeah I've just spotted a couple of tyres over on the other side, I think I'm going to hit five shots and see if I can get one in. Five shots in the tyre, final balls are done, I hit the tyre. To show you the amount of effort I've gone to make this video, I've now got to climb back up this to go home. So that is my hour's worth of exercise done for today. I'm absolutely foosed from climbing up that hill, now it's home time to start editing. I won't call this episode one, more of a pilot for what may be to come.
