Good morning. Welcome back to Mishmas. I actually had to wet my hair a little bit this morning
because it was crazy. I woke up and it was like all over the place and I couldn't just like pat
it down. I was like, all right, let me just throw some water in it. Anyway, as it dries, it's going
to get nuts, but I need to shower anyway. But let's talk about today's, today's coffee, today's
Nespresso. We have Malozio. It is here to delight you with its honeyed sweetness and the hallmark
smooth cereal note of the blend's Brazilian bourbon arabica beans. All right, is best served
as coffee. Excellent. And smooth and balanced. Yeah, it says mild, nutty and balanced. The body
is three out of five. That's all the information we have. Now, I actually ordered a whole sleeve
of Malozio decaffeinated, uh, when I got the machine, because I like to enjoy some decaf coffee
in the afternoons or after dinner sometimes. Uh, and it's, it's nice. It is very, very mild.
I don't know if I necessarily taste any honey, but it is very, very mild. And if you like
something mild and if you like decaffeinated, they do have a decaffeinated version. So anyway,
yes. How are you guys? Day 19. We are just chugging along, chugging along. All right. Let me
not get into too many morning rambles. I'm going to finish up my coffee. We'll open up these advent
calendars and we'll get into day 19. Okay. Day 19. Oh my gosh. Day 19. Oh, here we are. The bottom
here. Ooh, the lime basil Mandarin hand cream. Perfect. This size is great for travel,
guest room, or for me to keep in my purse. This is great. I love, as you guys know,
I love the lime basil and Mandarin. Okay. Day 19. Right here. We've got,
oh, Nargile. This is one of my favorites. Okay. So the site says that the air is enhanced
once you like the wick with a hint of honey, tobacco leaves, and a handful of spices.
You can really, really smell the honey. Oh, it's delightful. It really is delightful. This is one
of my favorite candles from them. Hey guys, today we're going to be talking about my top 10 Dior
beauty products. I did this for Chanel last week or something. And many of you actually requested
this and I'd been thinking about doing this and I thought, why not? Why not do it during Mishmas?
I finally remembered to put ornaments on this tree. It's only day 19, right? Day 19, I think.
Anyway, better late than never. I even whipped out a Dior candle for the occasion. This is actually
a candle that I got last year during the holiday season. It is the 30 Montaigne and it is in this
gorgeous porcelain vessel. And I wanted to, so I wanted to look up the notes for this candle.
And I assume that they had like an associated perfume with this, but they don't. I think it's
just, I think it's just the candle. Okay. This candle recreates the spirit of the Dior salons
centered around spicy Oriental notes. Okay. There aren't any specific notes and I just lit it. So I
feel like I'm getting the full effect, a little bit of the spices coming through, but that's it.
Anyway, let's go ahead and get started. I feel like I kind of fell in love with Dior sort of
late in the game when I started YouTube. I just had no interest in it. I tried one of their
quints, one of their eyeshadow quints, or maybe it was like a quad at that point. I'm not even sure,
but they looked completely different. Anyway, wasn't really a fan. And it was only after getting
into YouTube, you know, trying a lot of stuff and they were kind of reformulating things that I
really fell in love with a lot of their products. So I've got 10 favorites here. I do have one
honorable mention, of course, I just can't help myself, but I'm going to go ahead and start with
foundation and you guys know how much I love this foundation stick. So I have the shade 2N
and I do feel like this may be very repetitive to some videos that I have coming up because I have
my best of 2024. I also have an all time favorite video coming up and this is definitely just
spoiler alert, this is definitely at least going to be in my best of 2024 because this just came
out just a few months ago and I can't stop using it. It is really, really smoothing on the skin.
I have it on my face today. I love the finish of it. It's not super glowy. I have dry skin.
It's not matte. I don't like a matte sort of dry, velvety looking finish on my skin. I feel like I
have that already. I need a little bit of help in terms of looking a little bit more alive. So I
like at least skin like finishes where my skin looks soft and touchable and a little radiance
is always helpful, but this foundation is perfectly skin like. It's smoothing, it's perfecting. This
stick has a little bit more coverage than what I'm used to or, you know, other foundations that
gravitate towards have a lot lighter foundation. I'm kind of like a light, light medium foundation
gal. This foundation I would say has a medium coverage and I like lighter coverage foundations
not because I don't need it, but because it generally just looks less makeupy on the skin
and this stick somehow has been able to achieve more coverage without looking too makeupy. I don't
feel like I ever look overly made up when I put on this foundation stick and for me it even has
enough coverage where I feel like I can just sort of like spot cover places where I don't have to
put it all over my face. Today I do have it all over my face. Cheeks, forehead, everything down
my neck, the whole thing. But I love it. I love it. I love the texture. Just blends out beautifully.
I've gone on and on about it. I will, like I said, probably go on and on about it in future videos.
So I love that foundation stick. It is so, so good. The next product is something that I've been
raving about for years now. This is the Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer. They did recently
reformulate this and I was very nervous, but I don't actually see that much of a difference.
I've been using shade 2N. I'll go between 1.5N and 2N, you know, just kind of depending on what
time of the year it is. And I love this concealer. This is again possibly a product that you'll see
in an upcoming video, but it just has a great creamy texture. It has really great coverage. I
feel like I can use this in lieu of foundation if I just want to put it around my eye area and just
hit some sunspots. It blends out beautifully. They have a huge shade range, so you can probably find
a shade close to your own skin tone and just use it in that way. And it's perfection. It doesn't
budge. It doesn't crease. It doesn't do anything funky around my eyes. I love it. And I love how
creamy it is because again, with dry skin, with having fine lines underneath my eyes, la la la la,
it's not drying at all. In fact, I feel like it's very nourishing, even though it doesn't claim to
have any sort of skincare benefits or anything like that. But I do feel like it has at least
smoothing, maybe plumping effects underneath my eyes. So long time, long time love. You guys know
this has appeared in so many of my favorites. I love this concealer. So for this next product, I
wasn't sure if I should just talk about this with the foundation because it was released around the
same time. I'm pretty sure it's the same formula, but I thought it deserved its own mention. And
that is the contour stick from Dior. So basically is the same exact size and situation as the
foundation stick, except the packaging is just slightly different. It has a matte black barrel
with the black CDs there. And it just is much like the foundation. It just blends out like a dream.
And you just, you definitely want contour to blend out like a dream. You definitely do not want that
to be streaky or obvious on the skin. And I use the shade light 01. It's very, very neutral to
cool tone. And it's I think perfect, perfect for contour. I have the shade 2 tan, I believe, which
is much warmer, which I think I could maybe use as a bronzer. But because this is a pretty pigmented
product, I'm a little bit afraid to use it that way. So I'm kind of holding off on using the tan
until next spring, summertime. I'm going to try this contour again and see if it works when my
skin just, you know, gets a little bit tanner in the summertime. But I really, really like the tone
of this 01 light. It is just perfect for contour. Next on my list is yet another product I've gone
on and on about. This is the Dior Rouge blush, and I'm holding up the shade Charnel. I love this
blush formula, but I do love this blush shade in particular. It is just neutral enough. I have it
on my cheeks today. It is just the perfect everyday shade. It is slightly peach, slightly pink. It
doesn't have like a super high shine finish, which occasionally I enjoy. It is like the Goldilocks
bed. It is just right in terms of its tone, in terms of its pigmentation, in terms of its sheen.
It has a really soft satin sheen, so it's not matte. It doesn't look dry. I do like a little
bit of something on my cheek products, and it's simply gorgeous. It's simply gorgeous. I love,
love, love the shade. I love the shade. I love the formula. Everything blends out beautifully,
looks great on the cheeks, and it does last all day. So this has been a longtime love of mine.
And, you know, again, just over the past few years, Dior has done a lot of reformulating. I
think they were trying to, you know, get rid of or replace some ingredients in their formulas.
Anyway, I was really nervous about this. I was like, is this going to be the same? And it's just
as good as the previous version. So very happy with that. All right, next on my list is actually
a rediscovery. So I fell in love with this product. I probably bought two or three in a row,
and then I went to try other ones, you know, found some really, really decent ones. And then
over this past Sephora haul, yeah, the 20% off Sephora haul, I was going through the site,
you know, asking myself, did I need to restock up on anything? And I came across this product,
and I was like, oh my god, I love this product. Why am I not using it? So anyway, I got another
one. But I already had one in my in my backup drawer. That's how much I loved it. So I ended
up with two in my backup. Anyway, I've pulled it back out. It is the Dior Dior Show Onset brow gel.
So when Tom Ford basically discontinued or started playing around with their fiber brow gel, I was
like, okay, I need to replace this. I don't know what they're doing. And I came across this one.
This is a really, really similar formula to the Tom Ford fiber brow gel. I do find this
texture to be a little bit thinner than the Tom Ford fiber brow gel. The Tom Ford one
is a little bit denser. It's a little bit more like a pomade, like a paste,
where this one feels a little bit closer to a gel. But other than that, it is pretty close.
It's got fibers in there. It holds my brows in a soft way. It's not super crunchy at all. So if
you're looking for a light hold, light control, this is great for you. I do like the dark brown.
It is a pretty neutral shade. A lot of times, and that's what I have on my brows, a lot of times,
browns for the brows are too warm or too red for me. Because I have gray in my hair, I do feel like
I need at least a neutral shade in my brows or something even cool tone. I ordered during the
20% off sale, I got Raven black. So if they ever come out with gray, I'll probably move over to
that. But the dark brown definitely works. The black I still have in its box in the back, so I
can't speak to that shade. But I really, really like the dark brown and I really like the formula.
I also really like the spoolie. Let me just bore you with this a little bit longer. I really like
the spoolie because it's short and it's slightly fluffy. Someone just recently asked in my comments
if I had used the Charlotte Tilbury brow gel and how would I compare it? And I can't get past,
I'm looking around to see if I have it. The Charlotte Tilbury brow tint has a really,
really fine, fine spoolie. So it's like micro fine. And for some reason, that because I want to get
into my hairs, I want to really comb the product through my brow hairs. I feel like because the
spoolie is so short or trimmed down so short, I feel like I have to get close to my skin and I
always end up getting some of that brow gel onto my actual skin, which I don't want to do. I think
maybe some people probably use the brow gel, especially if it's tinted to like fill in their
brows a little bit in that way. I don't like to do that. I just feel like I end up looking a little
too Groucho Marxie. It looks a little bit too like, I don't know, it just ends up looking very,
very messy on me. So I can't even like get past the spoolie to talk about the Charlotte Tilbury
formula. I'm sure it's fine, but that spoolie is just too small for me. So I really like a spoolie
that is petite like this, but is, you know, fluffy in that way. I feel like I'm able to like grab
my eyebrow hairs. Okay, enough about that. Eyeshadows. Again, no surprise. I'm going to
talk about the Dior Eyeshadow Quint in Soft Cashmere. I just cannot get enough of this
Quint. I love this shade in particular. It is so, so gorgeous. So here are the five shades. Sorry,
the lightest shade is this like whitish, light pinkish kind of crystally shade. It's a great
topper shade, but you can't really see it on my hand. Sorry about that. But here are the other
four. That last one is the shade that's in the center. This is just a beautiful, beautiful
everyday palette. I love the formula. I love the shades. This shade like I keep talking about is
this one right here. It's a great one and done shade. It reminds me of a Cosmopolite that Dior
discontinued a gazillion years ago. It was one of their singles. I just love, love, love this palette.
It is a little bit on the cooler side, which I have been leaning towards and gravitating towards.
I mentioned that in my declutter video, but I love everything about this Quint. The color story,
the formula, the longevity. I put it on my lids. It stays put. It doesn't fade at the end of the
day. It really is just a rock solid, beautiful everyday kind of palette. So I really enjoy
using that. I have talked about it quite a bit and oh my God, this one shade is gorgeous. Okay,
I'm starting to smell the candle more. I actually don't smell a lot of amber. Why does it kind of
smell like melon to me? I wonder if it's going to get deeper as it goes. Yeah, we haven't even
melted the top layer yet, the whole top layer yet, but I smell melon. Isn't that weird? Okay,
similarly to the Contour Stick, I wasn't sure if I should speak about this next product along with
the Quint, but I figured it needed its own mention. So these are the Solos. These are the
Mono Color Couture shadows from Dior. I love this shade, which is also very similar to that
one shade that I pointed out in the Quint. This is 658 Beige Mitzah, and this I think is a really
beautiful, beautiful replacement for Cosmopolite. Isn't that gorgeous? It's absolutely gorgeous.
I'm going to actually swatch it next to that one shade in the Quint, and the one shade in the Quint
is this one. It's a little bit lighter, you can see. The Reflect is a little bit brighter. This
has that kind of peachy tone underneath, and it's actually what I have just all over my eyes today.
It's the only shade I have on. I decided to use the Beige Mitzah as like a one and done today for
you guys, and it's, oh, it's beautiful. It's beautiful. It just, it's breathtaking. The
metallic sheen of it over that kind of taupey, peachy base just gives enough complexity so that
when you use it as a one and done shadow, you have like highlight on the lid, you have a little bit
of like crease dimension action going. Like the way the light hits it, it is perfect. It is perfect.
It is such a joy to use. The formula is wonderful, blends out beautifully. It is perfect for
beginners, and I really love having this one shade in this like solo compact, because if I'm feeling
really, really low maintenance, and I'm packing for a trip, or I'm planning on doing my makeup
out or something like that, I'll just pack this little guy. So good. So that is the Dior Beige
Mitzah. All right, and we've got a few new loves here, but I am really, really enjoying the Rouge
Dior Contour, the lip liner in the shade Grige Attitude 303. So previously, one of my all-time
favorite lip liners, which it still could be, but I need to get some replacements because the ones
I have are very old. I love the Sicily lip liner. It's a lip liner that goes on really smoothly,
not like too slick like a gel liner, which I feel like is so slick that sometimes I like lose
control of it a little bit, but it goes on really smoothly, like so smoothly that I thought, oh,
this isn't going to last. This isn't going to do much in terms of like keeping my lipstick in,
but it set down. And once it sets down, it doesn't budge, and it also doesn't feel dry either.
There are a lot of, I think, very effective lip liners out there that I've tried that are drying,
and I have very sensitive lip skin. I know, so, so dramatic, so high maintenance,
but I'm prone to eczema, and when I get eczema, it's around like my top lip, so I just have like
really dry lip skin. Anyway, what I really love about the Dior is for the same reasons as the
Sicily. It goes on, it's really, really creamy, but it takes even a little bit longer than the
Sicily to set down. So for a contour lip pencil where you really want to blend it out, you don't
want to just have this like really stark line. You really want to fade it in. The brush on the
other side of this is very, very helpful in doing that, and it takes a while to set down, so it
gives you that time to actually do that, to actually feather it in. I do have it on today,
and it's the perfect contour shade for me. It's very, very cool toned. There's definitely a lot
of gray in this, but can you see a little bit of that peach, which I think is really helpful in
terms of a lip liner, right, because you're drawing it over your lip color. So it just, it's a really
effective, great formula in terms of it being a lip liner, and then this particular shade, this 303
shade, is so perfect for contouring. So I have fallen in love with this. This lip liner has been
one that I've been reaching for a lot lately, so I wanted to mention that in this video. And truth
be told, I am not the biggest fan of Dior lipsticks. I think they look beautiful. I think they apply
beautifully. Their finishes, the color range, gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. But what turns
me off from Dior lipsticks is the fragrance. They have a floral fragrance, and it's not a lot, it's
not like overbearing, like there are some products that you can smell before you even open up the cap
or take the cap off or whatever. This isn't that, but it really just lingers. It's very, very present,
and I'm just not a fan of that. It turns me off from using their lipsticks. So I don't have those
to mention. However, another new love, much like the lip liners, are these liquid lip sequin
lipsticks. I think they're called like Forever Liquid or Forever Sequin Liquid something,
but it's the sequin finish liquid lipstick from Dior. And these have a little bit of like a liquid
lipstick smell. It's definitely not a fragrance. I feel like it's just like the formula smells like
this. But as soon as I put it on, I don't smell it. I don't taste it. So in terms of fragrance and
all of that, I feel like these are much, much better, which is kind of a surprise. I always
feel like I have problems with liquid lipstick smelling very, very synthetic, but I don't have
that with these. So I've got Twinkle and Sensation. I've been wearing Twinkle quite a bit. This is the
one that's a little bit more nude. I have Sensation on my lips today, which is this really cool toned
plum. It is so good. I do not like liquid lipsticks. As you guys know, I am not a matte
lipstick lover, but these are so good. They're so comfortable. I forget that I have them on.
And the sequin finish, again, I'm not the biggest fan of like glitter on my lips,
but it's so subtle and the Twinkle is even more subtle than this one. I'm like, oh my god, Dior
in one product has changed my mind about two things, liquid lipsticks and glitter on my lips.
I love it. I love it. I haven't been able to stop wearing both of these ever since I got them,
I don't know, a few weeks ago. I just think this one is like perfect for the holidays. I don't
mind a red lip at all, but I feel like it's so predictable, right? Like the red lip for the
holidays. It's just so literal. This I think is just a little bit more interesting and this
actually matches the ornaments on my tree. So I like it even more, but these two shades are so
good. So, so good. I'm so glad I picked these up. I was like liquid lipstick, glitter. I'm not sure,
but I really wanted to give it a shot and I'm so glad I did. So these are very new. I'm surprised
they made it to this video, but here they are. That's how much I love them. And the other lip
product that I really enjoy from Dior are these lip glow oils. I think these are very, very similar
to other lip oils I've used out there, like the Clarins, like the City Beauty. This is like a
little bit, it's a little bit thicker. It's maybe very similar to the Clarins in terms of formula.
It's definitely thicker than the City Beauty Night Oil, but the Clarins, they have a lot of
like different scents or flavors, if you will. And I like the Dior fragrance a little bit more
because it's more subtle. I find it to be a little bit more subtle than the Clarins. Yeah,
it's barely, barely detectable. So this one is raspberry and then this one I have, which is just
straight up pink and just, yeah, just a really, really light, light fragrance. And then this one
I purchased just recently. This one is, I think they call it bronze. It's I think number 62.
It could be their deepest one. Anyway, I wanted to see if I could wear this over lip liner. It
really isn't pigmented enough, of course. Yeah, just a really subtle kind of like sweet
scent. Anyway, I really like that it's, it's subtle. The formula is really great. I find it
very, very nourishing. I do really like the bronze. It adds like just a little bit to my lips.
It really doesn't have that much coverage. They're not meant to have a lot of coverage,
but I really like the formula. I really like the way my lips feel after application,
and I really appreciate the light fragrance that these guys have. So big, big fan of those lip
oils. So those are my top 10 favorite Dior products. I do have one honorable mention,
and this is an honorable mention because it's limited edition and it's going to go away after
this holiday season. I, I'm talking about this now and I don't even know if it's still in stock,
but it's this face and eye palette that they came out with for the holidays.
I'm so impressed. So, so impressed with the quality of the products in here. These eyeshadows
are amazing, are amazing. The Quint in here is probably better than many of the eyeshadows I
have in my collection. It is on par with a lot of the Quints that you buy separately.
From Dior, just gorgeous. All of these are just pressed powders, except for these guys. These
are the lips. I haven't even used the lip products, but I've used the blushes. I've
used the highlights. Beautiful. I love the color story in here. These are very wearable. I mix
between the two. Uh, the blush I'll mix between the two also because we've got something cooler.
We've got something warmer and brighter and the eyeshadows are great. And this is gorgeous.
I love this. This would make an amazing, amazing gift for the makeup lover in your life. I love
this packaging. Like how cool is that? It's just really, really beautiful, really well thought out.
And I'm just really impressed with the products in here because I, I find that a lot of these
pallets, these big pallets that these companies come out with for the holidays, like they look
really nice. They're packaged really nice. They're really meant for gift giving. Like you're just
going to buy it and pass it off basically. So a lot of the products in those things just don't
perform that well. They're subpar maybe to the regular line. No, not, not with this Dior. They
did this palette right. So I wanted to mention this, but only as an honorable mention, because
like I said, it's limited edition and it's probably going to sell out fairly soon if it
hasn't already. So that is it for this video, my top 10 Dior products with an honorable mention.
