And at the end of the video tell me if you agree with this or not.
The first trend that is no longer relevant is the shiny skin.
We have been observing this trend for a few years now.
Very shiny cheeks, shiny skin, very radiant.
Those of you who have oily skin are definitely looking forward to this trend disappearing again soon.
Instead, the cloud skin will be in demand.
We have seen this trend in the last 1-2 years also in other countries like Korea, where it creates a semi-matte finish for the skin.
We still have a slight hint of moisture, similar to mine here, but there is a little moisture on the cheeks.
But if you look closely, the rest of my skin is semi-matte.
It is not super matte and flat, it does not shine very much, it is not a glass skin.
We call it cloud skin because it has a semi-matte to satin finish.
It is best to achieve this with foundations with a satin finish or if you apply powder, you only use very little and only exist in the T-zone.
What I have learned in recent years, in my opinion, is still in trend, but glassy skin is out.
The semi-matte skin of cloud is in.
The next trend that is no longer relevant is cream and liquid brushes that dominate the scene.
Does that mean that we can no longer deal with it now?
No, definitely not.
Especially me, when I'm over 40, I need a creme rouge to give my skin a little freshness, simply because I need it.
No, we're actually going back to powder.
Powder rouge experiences a revival, but it is increasingly used in a baked form.
We see that with brands like Rough Beauty.
There is one of my favorite rouges.
I'll put it on to show you.
It is a great way to apply rouge and achieve a soft, diffuse look, instead of the really shiny, shiny creme formula we saw last year.
They are still color dabs, but they are a little softer and more diffuse.
Exactly that gives you a baked rouge.
I like to wear something like that on my cheeks.
And do you see how it creates a beautiful cloud effect?
Everything revolves around a very soft, very baked, natural, semi-matte result.
And that's exactly what baked rouges do.
I like the product from Rough Beauty for the drugstore very much.
I know that there are also a few great baked rouges in Milan.
So that's the current trend.
Creme and liquid rouge are out, baked rouge is in.
The next trend is complicated, multi-stage skin care routines.
We saw the 10-step skin care routine.
Believe me, I was part of this club by applying several layers.
Guys, and I think that now everyone is just tired.
We are tired.
We don't have time for a 10-step skin care routine anymore.
What we see now is that everyone simplifies their skin care routine, but uses products with multi-purpose ingredients.
So we see moisture creams with ceramides, peptides and hyaluronic acid.
They contain several ingredients in a formula to be versatile and to provide the greatest possible benefit for money.
So these are the formulas that I have seen from the laboratories, with which I have worked together in the field of skin care and beauty.
Multi-purpose products, even serums and so on.
We start by combining ingredients with each other.
So you use a product to achieve several effects.
The next trend we see is the naked eyeshadow look.
Basically, we don't wear any eyeshadow at all.
We only wear a little eyeliner on the lashes.
That's about it now.
I don't really have much on it.
The trend is slowly going out again, and instead, eyeshadows with pearl gloss finish are in fashion.
I've been doing this for almost half a year now.
That's already coming.
We'll definitely like that next year.
And you can use eyeshadows like this one.
You know that I'm a big fan of the eyeshadow from Terra Moon.
I think it's beautiful.
I will list my favorites in the description.
I don't make any money with the brand.
I just like to support companies that are run by women.
So that's my favorite.
Another company that is run by women and is very popular on TikTok is Adriana Nicole Cosmetics.
She has these beautiful pearl gloss colors that you can just apply with your finger.
And now we just apply the eyeshadow.
Look how beautiful that looks.
So, unique, because we don't have time for several makeup looks, people.
Now we want something gentle and simple.
So we take something like this and just dab it on the lid to achieve a pearl effect.
Then you can just take any brush and spread it.
Do you see how that gives the eyes a beautiful pearl look?
Absolutely stunning.
That's what's in the trend right now.
Shimmering finishes.
Dab your finger on your eyelids and you're done.
And our eyeshadow looks are done.
With a little mascara.
Beautiful.
Another trend this year are modern retro pastel eyes.
We take lavender, pastel blue, pastel green and yellow tones and apply them with a matte or satin finish on the entire eyelid.
That creates a retro look of the 1960s.
We see that on the runway.
It is actually wearable for all age groups.
The idea is the same.
Take your finger or brush and dab the pastel on the entire eyelid.
That's really easy, almost like a diffuser, gentle smokey eye look, but with pastel colors.
And blue seems to be the top color, which is announced next year after the pastel colors.
Baby blue.
People, the 60s and 80s are back.
The next thing we're going to see are the colorful eyelashes.
I had a moment like that at the beginning of 2024.
Then it was over for a minute and now it's back with full force.
With colorful eyelashes like this one in shimmering blue, shimmering green and shimmering pink, all these funny, important shimmering eyelashes come into play.
A great way to make the whole thing wearable is to keep your eyes very simple and then simply apply the colorful eyelashes.
Take the same color of the eyelash as eyeliner and wipe it along the lash line to get a hint of blue or purple, no matter what color you want.
It is a great way to wear it by applying only a little eyeliner and colorful eyelashes and keeping the rest of the face super light and airy.
It just looks very fresh and is in the trend for 2025.
Another trend that is no longer relevant is excessive browning and excessive contouring.
Contouring has not been relevant for a few years, unless we use it strategically to give the face more dimension, but we do not use strong contours.
We haven't said it for a while, but browning is also a bit in the background.
Instead, I call it blush touring.
Some editors on the Internet call it bronzer.
Bronzer with a blonde rouge.
Bronzer.
I'll show you an example.
So you take a rouge that is almost like a covered brown-taupe or a plum shade, only very covered and a little darker.
It's almost as if a bronzer and a rouge had a baby.
This is a bronzer and you wear it almost as you would wear a bronzer.
You can use a brush like this one.
This is the BK 15 brush.
I really like this brush at the moment and take a color like this.
Do you see that this is a bit of a yellow-brown shade?
It's as if a rouge and a bronzer had a baby.
We apply it a little further down on the face and then spread it over and over again.
And it gives you a rouge effect.
But we use it like a contour and a rouge in one.
We start here and then apply it.
And it just gives the face dimension, but in a colorful way.
Look how pretty that is.
This is definitely what we will see for 2025.
Rouge or bronzing.
The next big trend is lips in mute brownie look.
We are now focusing more on cool tones.
In the last 1-2 years, cool tones have been in demand for the eyes.
We have seen many cool tones, like ZB,
eyeshadow palettes in grunge style with gray, silver and pink tones.
The same thing happens now with the lips.
We don't use such colors.
I'll show you a few examples.
These are the NYX Butter Glosses.
Friendly lips are out.
What we see are rather cool pink tones.
That's the new trend now.
Now come the pink and pink tones.
That's about what I'm wearing right now.
This is a lip contour pen by Maybelline.
That's a cool, cool color.
It's phenomenal.
It's called Gone Grage.
I'll link it to you below if you want.
This is the lip contour pen that I have now.
But if I had to choose a lip pen that is the lip pen of the year 2025,
then it would be the YSL Love Shine in the color 44.
That's the only one I could test for you.
I'm wearing it today, too.
It's the only pink lip pen that's light and cool.
This year we're not using warm lip tones.
We're using cool tones.
And it smiles on everyone, from light to dark skin,
because it still has some color and depth,
but it's a light pink.
So it still gives you the effect of a nude-colored lip pen,
but it's not warm brown.
It goes into the cooler.
That's our lip trend for 2025.
Beautiful, isn't it?
Such a looker, people.
I even bought it for Christmas.
There was a special edition of it.
A glittering version.
I was so looking forward to getting it in my fingers.
I have to try it out for you.
A shimmering version.
We're going back to the early 2000s.
As far as the lips are concerned, you probably remember the frosty pink lip pens with the shine.
Look at that.
So that's number 44, the special edition like this one,
and this is the traditional 44th.
Both are absolutely beautiful.
So that's the color palette we're looking for for the lips.
It's more nude colors, but rather cool.
Do you agree with these trends or not?
Which one would you try out in 2025?
