Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel.
I'm Andrea Lee.
I'm a celebrity makeup artist based in Paris and in today's video, I'm going to show you
how to do this very special, very sparkly, very holiday inspired makeup look.
The inspiration for this look was this PR package that I received from Violette Effert.
She's a makeup artist.
She has her own brand and recently she launched a product that is called Bijoux Eyes.
It's basically just rhinestones and I don't know if you can see, but I do have rhinestones
at the base of my lashes.
No, you didn't see?
Well, they're all there.
This is the inspiration of today's video.
I received them and I'm like, ooh, I've never done a look with rhinestones.
So perfect for the holiday season.
So if you're interested, then please keep on watching.
Let's start with the Forever Glow, the star filter.
This is in the shade one and I'm going to use this brush from Huda Beauty.
This is such a beautiful base.
It gives you this filter skin.
Next I'm going to underpaint and I'm going to use this stick.
This is a contour stick from Westman Atelier.
This is in the shade biscuit.
I'm going to contour in the usual places, which is at the end of the eye to give it
a more elongated look.
A little bit at the hairline and of course nose.
And I take a smaller brush for my lips.
Then I'm going to use the Easy Blur foundation from Huda Beauty and I mix chai and custard
to get like a perfect shade.
And then I just very, very gently apply the foundation where I don't have the contour.
Then with just what's left on the brush, I'm going to go a little bit over the contour.
And then I'm going to go with concealer.
And the concealer I'm using is going to be Natasha Denona.
I have to mix.
So basically I put everything on this palette.
Normally I put everything on the back of my hand, but because I have very long sleeves,
I just don't want to ruin this beautiful dress.
So I'll be mixing R2 with YP3 because YP3 is a little bit too warm for me.
But together they're just a perfect shade.
Okay, I'm going to take this fluffy blending brush.
This is from Cajer Weiss and saturated my brush with the product.
And then I'm going to go right underneath.
So the concealer that I'm using is about two shades lighter.
I don't always do that, but for this look, I really wanted to have a lighter under eye.
Then I take my foundation brush and just make sure that, you know, there is a really soft
bridge, like a soft blend between the concealer and the foundation.
And then just with whatever is left on my concealer brush, I will go and highlight certain
areas, right?
So my concealer is not going to only cover the darkness, but because it's lighter, it
acts almost like a spotlight.
So wherever I'm going to apply it, it will highlight that area.
Just a tiny little bit here.
Next I'm going to go with this Glossier.
This is Cloud Paint in the shade Puff.
It's a very, very sweet pink.
I'm going to take it with a BK Beauty 108 brush.
I'm going to get this right on the apple of the cheek and a little bit more on the center,
right?
So here and this area.
The only thing about the Glossier blushes is that they don't really last.
So you have to come with something on top of them.
Now I'm going to set everything using the One Size Translucent Powder.
It took me a while to get this powder because we don't have it in France.
I hope I'm not mistaken, but I think that a lot of the products from One Size are not
allowed to be sold in France because we do have the brand.
It's available at Mariono, but all these like the setting mist, the powder is not available.
So usually that happens when a brand has ingredients that are banned in France.
I don't know.
I'm going to take a smaller brush to set.
This powder is really that good.
I remember that I got this in the US in my last trip and it was a tiny little mini powder
because they didn't have this anywhere and I loved it.
So I'm going to use it only in the areas where I want absolutely zero shine.
And for me that would be a little bit on the nose and on the sides of the nose and chin.
Under my eyes, I will use a different powder.
So for the under eyes, I'm going to use the Huda Beauty powder.
But first I just want to make sure that the concealer did not crease.
Everything is good.
And I'm going to take a powder puff, Huda Beauty in Cherry Blossom.
For my eyebrows, I'm going to be using Anastasia Beverly Hills in the shade medium brown, but
I'm only going to take the light color in this pan just to give my eyebrows a little
bit of shadow.
That's what you want to create with an eyebrow powder.
You just want to give your eyebrows a really nice shadow first.
With this product, you don't want to fill your eyebrows completely because it's just
going to look weird.
So you can see that it's not darker than my natural eyebrows, but I've just created more
substance, definitely.
And now I can move on with something that will define them.
Now I'm going to show you how to create even more depth and dimension in your eyebrows.
So after you use a powder, you want to use a pencil or just something that is more precise
that will do hair-like strokes.
I love a pen.
And when you do this step, you want to make sure that these hair-like strokes are not
too close.
You need to leave space in between them.
That's what makes the eyebrow look natural.
I did learn from the best.
I have been trained by Anastasia Suarez, who is the founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills.
Now the last thing is to use an eyebrow gel, something that will tame your eyebrows or
will discipline your eyebrows the way you want.
My eyebrows are very coarse.
They are never really listening to me.
This eyebrow gel is from Kosas and you know what?
It's really good.
I have to go over my eyebrows for a couple of times though for this to really work, but
I love the result.
Okay, now let's move on with eyes and I'll be using the new eyeshadow palette from Dior.
This is part of their holiday collection.
I really, really love it.
I think it's stunning.
And I'm going to take first this eyeshadow, sorry, this one and just get it all over my
mobile lid.
And then I'm going to take a pencil brush and take this color, outer corner, a little
bit on the inner corner as well, lower lashes, and then I work my way up in the crease as
well.
And a little bit on the inner corner right here, and I'm going to take a small blending
brush and just make sure that I diffuse this as much as I can.
I want just a wash of color here.
Then I'm going to add this color with a blending, small blending brush, just a little bit in
the same places, but just a bit higher.
In certain lights, this is going to look absolutely stunning, but because, you know, my eyes are
so deep set, I don't know how much you're going to be able to see.
And then I am going to apply this eyeshadow topper from Patrick Ta.
I will take this one right here.
This is in the shade, Talk to My Team.
Now these eyeshadows are truly spectacular.
I have to say.
So with my finger, I took that eyeshadow, the lighter one, right, and apply it right
on the middle of my eyelid where it reflects the light the most.
Then I will take the other shade in the pan with this brush.
This is part of a brush that I received from one of my subscribers, and it is called the
brand is called Sui Tokyo.
Please go check out her brushes because they're absolutely stunning.
They're 100% made in Japan, handmade.
She told me about the stories of her brushes.
Here they are.
And she started actually this brand with her grandma, who is also a brush, a brush maker.
I was so surprised and I really love the story, had to share it with you.
So with this tiny brush, I took that eyeshadow and get it in the inner corner like so a little
bit here.
This is going to beautifully reflect the light.
This eyeshadow from Patrick Ta is unbelievable.
Now I have some bijoux for the eyes.
I don't know if I should use these.
I've never used rhinestones in makeup.
Let's see if I'm capable to do this because these are so tiny.
I got these from Violette and normally you're applying this with like a special pen, but
I don't have it.
So let's see if this is going to work just with my finger.
Okay, so far you don't see it, I guess.
They're very, very small, very delicate.
And I'm not going to lie.
I don't have the best tools to apply.
Why did I do this to myself?
Why did I want to apply rhinestones on my eye?
It took me 45 minutes.
I'm not joking.
These things are tiny and when you don't have that special pen, why is it that I don't have
that special pen?
Why?
I'm going to apply mascara, but because my eyelashes are full of glue, because I was
obviously using glue to put those rhinestones on, let's just hope I can fix this mess.
Oh my God.
Look at how one lash can ruin my life.
The drama queen in me.
How ugly is this lash because it's like all stuck together.
Let me try to see if I can.
I mean, they're cute.
They're cute, right?
You don't really see them, do you?
Let's do a little bit of mascara on the lower lashes.
I'm just going to wait for this to dry.
Then I'll peel it off.
Let's do the rest of the skin.
Meanwhile, I'm going to go with this Hindash highlighter.
This is really, really pretty.
And I'm trying to just barely touch the skin because this can be strong, right?
And then I'm going to apply this.
This is Forever Glow Maximizer from Dior.
And this is exactly what I wanted, that frosty pink.
Just on top of this, I took it with a synthetic brush to give me more of that wet, ethereal
kind of a cheek.
Okay, more glow.
This is from Westman Atelier, Super Loaded Tinted Highlighter in Peau de Rosé.
This is like a hybrid between a highlighter and a blush.
It has exactly that nice pink that I was looking for.
What I've applied on the high points of the cheeks, that's really great as a highlighter.
But I wanted something that has a little bit more of that pink tone, and I think this is
going to be perfect.
Yes.
Oh my God, this is so good.
Now on my lips, I'm going to apply a cream eyeshadow from Merit instead of a lip liner
because I'm looking for this very soft contrast on the lips.
This cream eyeshadow lasts super, super well.
And then I'll move on with this Fenty Beauty.
This is a Gloss Bomb Stick.
This color is Perfection.
The last thing that I'm going to apply is bronzer.
I feel the need of a little bit of contrast on the skin.
Let's find a good bronzer for this look.
I'm going to apply this one from Dolce & Gabbana.
This is in the shade Light Medium.
Let's just set it.
The best setting mist there is.
This is from One Size.
This is my over-the-top holiday makeup look with everything that sparkles.
If you enjoyed this look, please give it a thumbs up.
