The Timberwolves are ALL OVER this...

So today we begin with the Timberwolves are all over this as today we have a report that details why Anthony Edwards is most likely going to have a huge offensive year. And yes, head coach Chris Finch, lamello ball is going to be one of the main reasons the Ant-Man is going to have a huge year from a scoring perspective. Welcome back to the Timberwolves Digest as always North America. I'm Dave Devon. I bring you the latest Minnesota Timberwolves news, trade reports, trade rumors, and of course, a whole lot of commentary. I begin by asking you all a question. Do you think that the Ant-Man at this point is actually going to win the NBA scoring title this upcoming season? I want to know what your thoughts and opinions are about that. Go ahead and drop them in. Now in today's show, we're going to take a look at this Timberwolves roster should allow Anthony Edwards to score more easy buckets. This is a report that we're going to cover. I want to know what your initial thoughts are about that. Drop your comments. Now this is a quote from head coach Chris Finch the other day about actually taking the diapers off, as he put it, with regards to the younger players on the Minnesota Timberwolves. And head coach Chris Finch is talking about Ant-Man, Jaden, and several other players that he basically just wants to allow them to flourish without bringing in a bunch of older veteran players. I want to know what your thoughts are about that as well. We're going to get into that report in just a second, but I did want to know, do you think that the Ant-Man at this point actually has enough help to actually win an NBA scoring title in the upcoming season? In terms of this report, Anthony Edwards will certainly benefit from playing with LaMelo Ball, who's exactly the most dynamic player he has ever starred in a starting backcourt with. It's not crazy to think that Edwards could potentially increase his scoring enough in 2026 to win a scoring title next season by playing alongside a great passer. Now you have to remember that LaMelo Ball is a great passer. A lot of times people get stuck with those long-range, awkward-looking, smooth-as-ice three-point shots that LaMelo Ball is famous for. He's actually most famous for, at least in my opinion, his ability to see the court, his ability to push the ball up the court. I think having LaMelo Ball on this Minnesota Timberwolves team with Ant-Man should afford Ant-Man an opportunity to actually go out and win a scoring title. Ball will allow Edwards to shoot more catch and shoot three-pointers, which is exactly something Edwards actually excels at. Ant-Man should also get more transition opportunities this season. All right, so look, in terms of the more transition opportunities in the upcoming season, I can't agree more with that assuming everybody stays healthy. A starting lineup featuring Edwards, Ball, Jada McDaniels, and Jonathan Camingo will be off and running if they believe it will give them an advantage over the defense. There's no reason they shouldn't play in transition any more than they did last season when they played without a true starting point guard and, of course, Julius Randall, as I like to say, where all NBA basketballs go to die. It's not that I don't love Julius Randall's game, it's just that he needs the ball. He slows down the offense. You all know exactly what I'm talking about. All right, more from the report as well coming up for you next. The Timberwolves should be at or near the top of anyone's league pass rankings. This will be a joy to watch. Edwards will also be allowed to showcase his elite athleticism, more often creating more easy buckets. The scoring average has gone up every year of his career and should partially go up a lot in the upcoming season. All right, so that's what I have for you from that report. Is there enough there, at least in your opinion, that the Ant-Man can actually go out and win an NBA scoring title in the upcoming season? Look, I think this Timberwolves team personally has enough weapons to actually make it possible for the Ant-Man to actually go out and win the scoring title. I'm more about the Timberwolves actually making it to the NBA finals than I am about Ant-Man actually winning a scoring title, but I will say this.
