The Timberwolves Have Found Something Special...

So today we begin with the Timberwolves have found something special as the new additions like LaMelo Ball and of course Jonathan Kuminga to this Timberwolves roster are set to make an absolutely, and I do mean this, absolutely huge difference for this Timberwolves team and of course head coach Chris Finch heading into the upcoming NBA season. The preseason is officially behind us, and you can expect a couple of roster moves to actually be made over the next coming days. We are like four or five sleeps away from the Timberwolves tipping off this season. Welcome back to the Timberwolves Digest. And I think we've seen glimpses of that during the preseason so far. One of the great things about LaMelo Ball is he's not only making Ant-Man better, he's also going to make the rest of the team better. Head coach Chris Finch believes, quite frankly, that they're going to end up playing both of them at the same time. Now, you'll see some interesting adjustments in the rotation, but clearly a lot of this is going to be very interesting. Look, they've generated a lot of playmaking already through LaMelo Ball. So I wanted to pull up this Anthony Edwards quote about the ring because I thought it's important and try not to be too giddy about the start of this upcoming season but I believe this team is for real assuming everybody can stay healthy it's just the ring I wake up every day go to the gym workout treatment weights go to the gym again workout treatment weights everything is based on what I can do to win the ring and it's not like I'm only working out for the ring I'm working out to go through all the ups and downs to get me get me to the ring look i love the Ant man's comments it is also one of the things that i am super excited about when we talk about this team this is a completely different offense than it was last year and you all are going to get to witnessed some greatness in the backcourt with of course the Ant-Man and LaMelo Ball now this is one of your uh quotes from earlier in the week the Wolves have all the offensive firepower one team needs but we're uh where we're lacking is in rim protection and rebounding so what world would we get rid of the main player that does both of those things on a high level this is in reference to a podcast we did earlier in the week about Rudy Gobert and quite frankly the whole thing at least from my perspective was just to open everybody's eyes up to the possibility that a Gobert trade could happen at some point now i don't think it should based on what we've seen out of Gobert i don't see Gobert necessarily skiing down the backside of career mountain at this point i absolutely love what Gobert is bringing to this team from a rim protection standpoint so i highly doubt that we will see a Gobert trade during the upcoming season so i want to leave you all with this today as we are four or five sleeps away from the start of the Timberwolves season how excited are you about what LaMelo Ball is going to mean to the Timberwolves and what this is actually going to mean to the Timberwolves, to the rest of the NBA, because I think a lot of people in the NBA and in the NBA media at this point are suddenly taking the Timberwolves for serious and for real.
