In this project, we create a game using Raspberry Pi. We use an absolute orientation sensor to develop the game and turn the sensor data from accelerometer and gyroscope into real time 3-dimensional orientation, so that user could control the game by body motion, a new way to interact with computer, instead of with traditional keyboard and mouse. In this design, we use pygame for game developing, and use piTFT as display interface of the game. In this game, users are going to move the ball from start point, which locates on one end of a randomly chosen map, to the end point, which locates on the other end. Game have different modes, with different level of difficulty and different time limits. For entertainment value, a background music will change according to the state of game.
hi everyone my name is we team my name
is Gina we divide up hiking using
Raspberry Pi and it is showing here the
name of the game is rolling book and so
the sense that we use is from Adafruit
it's an absolute orientation sensor to
control the ball accordingly to that
jutted angle of the gamepad in the
single map world user could use choose
whether to play easy medium or hard map
so for example if we chose a single map
the system will randomly choose a map in
the simple map sets the system will
firstly load the map we could control
the gamepad to change the direction of
the ball based on map the children
square represent a start and end point
when the ball hit the end point you wait
does this fast was shown on the screen
the total time user used will show as
well
this is the demo for the medium map the
time limit for easy and medium map is 60
seconds this is the demo for hard map
[Music]
you blow out of the map we will reset
its position to the start point the time
limit for hard map is changing to 90
seconds user will fail the game if
exceeding a time limit in the unlimited
map mode user could play unlimited maps
the system would firstly load the map
initially it was a load in easy map if
the ball reaches the end point of this
map the new map would be shown on the
screen immediately when the ball reaches
the end point of the second map we will
change a map difficulty to meeting in a
new map
[Music]
if the user conquered to medium maps the
system will change the map difficulty to
heart in the unlimited map mode if the
borough's out of the map came over and
the number of Concord maps would be sure
[Music]
