Excel’s new Interactive Canvas lets you create interactive dashboards directly inside Excel using Copilot. In this first look, I start with a standard inventory table and use a single sentence to generate a dashboard complete with interactive visuals, dropdown slicers, search, reset filters and cross-filtering. Even better, the dashboard remains linked to the underlying Excel data, so changes to the source can flow through to the visuals.
