W filmie zaprezentuję ukorzenianie filodendrona w mchu torfowcu, ratowanie przelanego skrzydłokwiata, ratowaną alokazję yucatan kupiona w przecenie i kilka, innych moich roslin. Miłego oglądania pozdrawiam Anna
Welcome to my delicate pats in monthly plant updates and care tips of our home plants for the coming month, in January.
Enjoy watching.
If there is no pest on the plants, they are not watered, and we are looking for them because of the lack of light and we are trying to find a more visible place.
There may not be a place on the windowsills, so let's pay attention to how the sun appears, how it operates in our apartment, how deep it falls into the middle of the room
and we can find a place where the sun will directly fall on the plant, but for 2-3 hours.
And such a place for plants in the winter period will also be very good.
We move plants from cold windows.
In rooms where the temperature is above 20 degrees during the day, but at night it drops to 10-12 degrees,
in such rooms we do not keep plants such as anthurium, dieffenbachia, philodendrons, monstera, Sanchezia.
Such rooms are unfortunately not suitable for them.
The temperature should be above 16 degrees and we water the plants sparingly, with less water than in the fall and summer.
In rooms where the temperature fluctuates around 12-15 degrees, we keep, winter various plants,
we try to water them when the substrate dries significantly.
If we provide a large amount of water at such temperatures, then diseases in the roots begin to appear.
However, in rooms where the temperature is above 20 degrees, but the humidity of the air is around 40%,
we water regularly, the same amount as we did in the summer.
Of course, making sure in advance, the only non-replacable meter of the substrate humidity,
whether the substrate dries to the extent required by the plant.
Sansevieria grown in cool rooms, where the temperature is around 16 degrees,
of course, we water sparingly, when the substrate is completely dry.
At low temperatures and too frequent watering, the plants often rot.
Sansevieria can also weaken now, rot when there is no light.
If in our heads now appear in January ideas to overdo the plants,
because they pass the roots through the holes from the drain,
I would quickly throw such an idea out of my head and I started thinking about it only at the end of February,
at the beginning of March, I started planning to overdo the plants.
The same applies to fertilization.
If we lighten and grow plants, then of course we strengthen them, feed them.
When we do not lighten the plants and we see that their growth is slowed down,
we absolutely do not fertilize, because now there is very little light
and they will start to pull out, lay down, lose their nice cut.
Alternatively, we can use bio-hummus for fertilization,
which have a small mineral content, but work very well on the root system.
Healthy roots are healthy plants.
Of course, when watering, we turn the plants 180 degrees,
so that the plant is evenly lit on each side.
And by the way, we check if there is no wheat under the leaf.
If the air humidity is low, it is warm, then the wheat can start to appear again.
If we have a camellia that has now started flower buds and unfortunately throws them down,
it throws them down because it is too dry air, too cold and has been dried too much.
If there is mold on the top layer of the soil in the pots,
then we water the plants in the substrate,
and the top layer of the soil can be replaced or loosened,
just move the soil gently so as not to damage the roots and just aerate such a substrate.
I signed up for ceramics classes.
In general, I started to spend a little more time for myself, for my own pleasure.
And I stuck something like this, I wonder if anyone will guess what it will be for.
Of course, everything I stick is related to plants.
I also stuck such a slanted cover, a flowerpot for plant composition.
I'll put something in it.
And something like this, such a basket.
Of course, also slanted, but for the first time, we'll see how it will work out.
And will anyone guess what it might be for?
Cycas.
A year ago I tried to winter it in the most visible place in the apartment,
but unfortunately it started to lose color, the yellows began to appear,
so I put it on a cool staircase a year ago,
and then on the balcony and it beat it nicely, let it out.
And now I'm not even trying this year.
It stands on a cool staircase and I see that it is dry,
so I have to gently moisten it and put it on a staircase.
Unfortunately, it will lose leaves in the rooms.
These are the old leaves that I did not cut.
Ficus bonsai, which I got to save.
As you can see, I haven't done anything with it yet.
It stands on a cool staircase,
it has a slightly moist substrate,
because I recently watered it, and I water it when the substrate dries completely.
Nothing happens to it, it is kept in growth,
but you can clearly see that it has tied leaves,
which should move warmly at the moment.
But until I find a visible place for it,
I don't overdo it,
because it will be wasted.
However, it is dark here and I have to figure something out
and find a place for it.
Dracaena stands on a cool staircase.
I dried it a bit,
it will have a few leaves to be cut,
but the Ficus bonsai did not come back.
There is also a method
that when the plant has a lower temperature,
we can put it in such a room,
and a low temperature
does not allow pests to continue to grow.
So we are able to slow them down.
In general, I also noticed
that when plants, for example, were watered,
a disease appears,
and also a pest,
and we move them to a cooler room for 2-3 weeks,
then their vegetation is slowed down,
the juices do not circulate so quickly in the plant,
so we are able to slow down the disease a bit.
But then we also have to be careful with watering,
so that something new does not start happening
And one more tip.
When we keep plants in cooler rooms,
do not water them with too warm water.
It is worth putting it in such a room
even for half a day
so that it has the temperature of the room
and such water at the temperature of the room
where plants grow,
we water the plants.
I'm curious if there will be any noise in the sound,
because recently it turned out
that I have noise reduction in the camera,
so we'll see.
I hope it won't be noisy and the sound will be ok.
Okay, now I'm taking you,
I'm walking around the house.
I had to move the strelitzia a bit
because it's next to the fridge
and unfortunately from the fridge cooling
something like that happened to the leaf.
As you can see, I haven't moved the gynura yet,
I haven't cleaned the dry leaves,
although recently before Christmas
I did a lot of cleaning of plants
and there were a lot of cut leaves and shoots.
Oh, a lot was collected.
These are growing nicely here,
they are growing, it's great.
Of course, there is no space on the windowsills,
but I will show you in the next video.
Oh, you can also see the dry leaves hanging.
I didn't clean everything,
but there was a lot of work anyway.
As you can see in the background,
I didn't put the opuntia out,
I didn't take it out,
I don't water it, it's standing here
and it can handle it.
I wintered it a year ago in this way
and here we have a twig,
which I showed you recently
in the last plant updates.
And here the hojabela blooms.
There are still a few unbloomed flowers
and it really blooms
practically non-stop.
It blooms from flower to flower.
Unfortunately, these three steps
stretch out to the sun,
despite the fact that I provide them
with the most visible places I have,
because maybe I'll put them in a box
and they'll lose their color.
But when it's time,
I'll just cut the roots
and it will thicken.
I also lost some leaves from the bottom,
but we can see that it started to spread
from the bottom.
Unfortunately, I have such a place
that it stands above the radiator.
I'll clean it right away.
Later I have work to do.
And it just dries up.
But soon I will be able
to take care of it.
Some time ago I showed you
how to regenerate a fallen flower wing,
which seems to have no
rescue for it,
and saved in perlite.
In the last plant updates
it looked much better.
Unfortunately, now it's frozen
because it's standing at the balcony exit,
which is open and it's just frozen,
so I'll put it in the box today.
If I put such fragments of plants
into the water, they would rot.
There would be no chance in the basement at all,
so in perlite, where there is a lot of air,
but also moisture,
it started to sprout.
And in several places.
I divided it into several pieces
because it was higher,
and these pieces were fragments of the plant
lower, so I wanted them to be
on the same level.
So, damn, what's with the accuracy?
Oh, here it sprouts.
So if there is not much
left of the plant,
then such a chance to save it,
to start sprouting,
it's just frozen perlite.
I showed you a box with begonias
recently,
this is what it looks like from above.
And I'm waiting for their watering today.
I have water brought from my parents from the well,
so I have to bring it from the garage
to catch the temperature.
I hope I can still water them today.
In the basement.
At the moment, I will not untangle this drone,
I will have to cut it.
I mean, I was supposed to cut it a long time ago.
So, well, how dusty it is.
Oh no.
I don't remember if I showed you this
on paproach, because it had such a discoloration,
but it's only in this place.
In one and only.
We'll see, maybe someday in the future
something will be repeated again.
I haven't touched this philodendron yet,
a few leaves fell off.
Well, it fell off by itself.
I'm not moving it for now, I'm waiting for spring,
then I'll move it and I won't
keep it here on the stairs.
Let it grow.
One of the philodendrons
that I got, I didn't move it either,
I didn't move it, they grow in the sun,
without water, so I'm a little scared.
I don't have a feeling, I know some people do it.
It is not recommended, because it is easy to water the plant.
It is difficult to feel the humidity of the substrate.
That's why I'm moving it.
But not now.
I'm stopping.
But as you can see, the leaves started to fall.
But there are also a few to cut.
I think it was during the transport.
It wasn't dried, it wasn't watered,
but it started to rustle
when it was transported from the house to the car.
It was cool
and I think it could also harm it.
Oh, here's the second one.
I just saw it now.
Updates of the philodendron,
which I showed you a month ago.
Well, I have to move it to the substrate
because it's in the swamp.
I watered it with a pipette.
And it's going well.
So it's time to overdo it
and give it a good burn.
Oh, the focus here.
You know what?
I still have to find out this new camera
because I don't understand the focus yet.
And I bought such a longer stick.
I'm also proud of plant experiments.
For now, it's in the water.
I have to deal with this topic
now, during the days.
This week.
After the ceiling of the cabinet
my philodendron Melanochrysum grew.
So I'm going to cut it.
I also covered it with moss here.
But I will update
and move this topic in another video.
A separate video.
Gloriozum update on the edema.
I showed it to you quite recently.
There are such dry spots left.
Unfortunately, there are traces on the leaf.
And here's a spot.
And one leaf turned completely yellow.
Well, unfortunately.
But I thought it would be worse.
When I put it under the light,
the moss absorbed quite quickly.
But as you can see, there are traces.
It's not always like that,
but we have to expect
that we will get such flaky spots.
Or it will turn yellow
or the whole leaf will turn yellow and fall off.
But a new one is coming.
The philodendron is found in the meadows.
It is alive, it works.
I have to do something with it.
My last biggest plant failure.
The philodendron from the import.
He dropped the leaves.
Unfortunately, I did not have good conditions for him.
Too low humidity.
The leaves did not develop.
And I pulled it out.
Because I had such suspicions
that something might be sitting in the roots.
And in fact, he lost three-quarters of the roots.
So I keep it now, as you can see, in the shade.
Ceramic is poured at the bottom.
And the substrate for the stalks.
There is about a centimeter of moisture.
Moisturized with sphagnum.
With a rootstock.
And closed in such a bag.
And I also keep the philodendron in the mud.
In a darker nook.
Because he prefers supposedly darker positions.
And he's letting go.
So we'll see what will happen to him next.
At the end of next week,
in a free moment, I will look into the roots.
I'll pull out the moss and see what's going on there.
But it's important that it's going on here.
And we'll see next time
what's going on in the roots.
I will try to record to show you
in the next plant updates.
What's going on in the cablot, what's growing,
what I'm planning, what has changed,
I'll show you in a separate video.
I'm sorry, but I think this topic is worth
to move it in a separate video.
So please be patient for a moment.
And I think the movie will appear in January.
About two months ago
I bought alocasia yucatan.
I don't know what it was for.
But I documented it.
I took pictures, filmed.
To save.
A few zlotys before I paid.
One bulb is in a carbon substrate.
In a semi-hydroponics.
And it lets out a leaf.
The second bulb is in a bigos.
And it doesn't move.
It stands under the lamps,
but nothing happens to it.
When I dug out the bulbs
alocasia, I dug out
probably 15 or 19 smaller,
bigger bulbs.
Will they let out everything? I doubt it.
But I keep them in such a container.
As you can see, in a slightly humid moss.
There are ceramic pieces at the bottom.
Soil for stalks.
This is under the cover.
And I could let it go now
on a heating mat.
Or wait a while.
Until mid-February.
And then put it in a warm place.
Then the ones that have the strength
But I could let them go
on a heating mat.
I don't know, I'll think about it.
Of course, as usual, there is a lot of work to do.
With plants.
Maybe I'll do it and show you in some time.
I don't know, in half a year.
Updates.
And today I still have to remember
to water the sticks.
And that's it in this episode.
See you in the next one.
Maybe a box or a green wall.
We'll see. Stay warm,
let yourself be green
and maybe it's better not to be yellow.
Take care, bye!
