Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker Get Ready for the Met Gala | Vogue

Hey Vogue, I'm Travis Barker. We are in New York for the Met Gala. Come on in while we get ready. Hi Vogue. So we are glamming for the Met Ball. This is our first Met and I feel amazing. I think we're just excited to go have a fun night together. It feels amazing because I don't know anything at all, which is the best feeling. I was saying it's like the first time I played SNL. I had no idea how big of a deal it was and I like approaching things like that and just going into it blind, knowing nothing, and I'm really there to enjoy myself. We are wearing Tom Brown. I think we're the first couple that Tom Brown is styling to the Met. I love Tom Brown. We've worked together before. I wore it to the MTV Music Awards from like their punk collection. It's probably one of my favorite suits I've ever worn. I just appreciate his clothing and his style and his design. Let's get ready. Hi, I'm Chris. I'm Travis's stylist. We've been working together since August, I think. Yeah. Because of the theme of the Met Gala, we decided to kind of go with the traditional men's apparel from that time. But then when Travis is in it, I feel like it completely transformed into something different and it just is him. And then obviously, as Tom would love, you know, putting a skirt over a pair of trousers to kind of added that twist. I wore a Tom Brown skirt for my Billboard photo shoot and pissed a lot of people off. I like doing that. I just love how like traditional and how like sharp and like, I don't know, it's like very dressy and like perfect. And I love that she's wearing the deconstructed version of it. Elements from Travis's really refined and perfect look, kind of like melting off from him onto me. So mine's really undone. See this pleating down here? This is Travis's pleated skirt. And then I'm wearing his pants and his jacket on the back. At first I was like, why isn't mine like messed up or like different? And then it like, like a light bulb went off in my head and I'm like, oh, I get it. She's like beautiful and tiny and petite. And I'm like, tattooed and crazy looking. And I'm in the nice one and she's in the destructive one. So that's why I'm excited. The unknown. Is there food? What's happening? That's the bigger question. Should we open a bottle of champagne? Is there vegan food? Yeah, absolutely. Everyone get out of my way. I ******* hate undoing champagne. I don't know if I have it in me. Do you want me to do it? Oh my God. Okay. There we go. Everyone's like, oh, are you guys just staying home all day? Like people think we're just here all day in the hotel, like prepping. But we like went outside early and had, you know, matcha and sat in the park and worked out. We went and got lunch, like, I think just having like a normal day. So it doesn't consume your life or time. You know, we didn't really know what glam we were doing. No, I just let you do your thing. The key is like not to stress too. Whatever it is, my life goes on and it's happy. What? I am Jack Skellington. Yeah. Basically, yeah. Okay. And you know, Sally is like a rag doll. Like she's like sewn. And you're sort of, yeah. Like with stitching. I think that's what Tom was thinking, baby. Yeah. This is the final look and we're super late. So that's all you get.
