HUGE Bruins Trade Update... MAJOR Trade Imminent? | Boston Bruins News
Sep 30, 2026
A major Boston Bruins trade update has been revealed as reports surrounding Dylan Larkin
to the Boston Bruins have been updated as of late as well as information surrounding
Kirill Marchenko and the current status with him on the move today. Don Sweeney and Cam Neely
now have revealed their plan and with all of these reports coming out at once the direction
the Bruins are going to take this season has been revealed. Folks we're gonna be breaking it all
down here in this video. Before we do get into it if you haven't already be sure to drop a sub here
on the channel. We have a lot of content coming with the season only a couple of days away you
will not want to miss it. Every single update we're going to have on the channel is going to
be right here. I also just want to say a big thank you for your patience over the past couple of days
really the last week haven't had any videos few things going on outside of the content so I
appreciate your patience but we're back into the full swing and I want to get straight into it
because as of today we see this here from David Pagnotta the fourth period the Boston Bruins made
an offer on Dillon Larkin which got rejected along with an offer from the Minnesota Wilds but
this is interesting because this shows the Bruins are trying to get a number one center.
We've been seeing it for a long time we've been hearing it for a long time but now the Bruins are
actually putting in the effort to try and find that long-awaited number one center and although
it was a failed trade no this does not mean it's over this does not mean this is the complete end
of it and of course Dillon Larkin only has an 18 trade list the Bruins are not on that. I don't
really think it matters at the end of the day you know that the Bruins are going to do what they can
to be able to get on that list and make this possible but this is a phenomenal start from the
Bruins having an offer out there on the table knowing that there's a lot of teams fighting
for Dillon Larkin but they're putting their presence out there and we're gonna look at a few
more things on that here in just one second revealing to more you know information surrounding
that number one center role very quickly before we do though we have a word from the sponsor of
this video Anson Belt and Buckle. You know what ruins a great outfit really fast an old beat-off
belt that doesn't fit right most guys are still wearing the belt stretched out holes that either
pin to your waist or snag and just throw off your whole look that's why I'm excited to have Anson

track system with quarter inch increments so your belt fits perfectly every single time once you
experience that kind of fit and comfort trust me you will never want to wear a regular belt again

sponsoring this video thank you again to Anson for sponsoring this video now let me look at what
Sweeney said on Elias Lin's talk surrounding if he's going to be a number one center or not this
is what we got this comes from Scott McLaughlin here I'm not as caught up in the number one center
number two center versions of things I think our depth overall is in the middle of the ice is
improving he's a good complimentary player to give the guys we have the question is how much
offense will he drive and this is all you know not the most confident answer we've ever seen
from Don Sweeney and especially now really addressing the fact that Elias Lindholm is not
a number one center they can't have him play number one center it just is not going to be
something that will really ever work out for this Boston Bruins team especially now with David
end of his career I guess I guess we could say the second half you have Morton Geeky on the first
line for a little bit we've seen Jacob Paterka there Elias Lindholm is going to provide no help
in the middle and that's why we're looking at more help on the offense preferably down the middle but
from what we've seen as well it doesn't have to be a number one center because the depth is there
but they just need more offensive help and that's where a few other things do come in and we're
seeing this as well it goes to show with the roster moves that have been made over the past
couple of days to shrink this roster down Don Sweeney confirmed that Frederick Burnett James
Higgins have made the NHL roster and Matt Pocher is going to be in the big club and get looks when
he does come off the injured list so the Bruins are doing whatever they can to try and find that
little bit extra offense with the players they have but I think we all realize that a big trade
similar to a Dillon Larkin or a Karel Marchenko would be that style of deal and you're looking
at the Atlantic Division right now I would say normally you wouldn't need to necessarily go out
and make a trade but with how this division has really locked things in over the past
two years I guess we'll say you could very very well be a 100 point team like the Bruins were last
season and be very close to missing the playoffs that's a big issue for this Atlantic Division and
a big part as to why the Bruins are feeling like they need to make this type of move and make these
types of deals and when we do look at you know from here Ice Metrics a mock trade for Dillon Larkin
Dean Noturneau Mason Lowright Matt Pocher a first and a fourth not all that bad you know I think that
you could find some better deals you know if that was the deal or not for Dillon Larkin
still you know to be determined I don't think we'll know as of yet if you know this was the
deal or not or anything similar to this but even if it's not Dillon Larkin there's been other names
involved like I mentioned with Karil Marchenko and Elliot Friedman said this and he says now
Columbus got another situation we'll see what they're going to do here with Marchenko and you
know I think teams have been circling around him I heard Boston made an offer at one point but once
again was rejected at the end of the day Bruins are being conservative what they have but that
also goes to show that the Blue Jackets may have thought they could got more and as of right now
you know it's late in the day on Monday Matthew Nice was traded for Karil Marchenko and you know
the deal is still being finalized as this video is being made so although Marchenko now is off
the trade block as of you know if this deal ends up going through which it seems like it will
there's a lot of teams looking for offense but the fact that Bruins are in on both
they have the cap space to make something like this happen and ultimately would have been able
to extend long term Karil Marchenko as well there's a lot of things that this Bruins team
really revealed to us over the past couple of days and weeks with this training camp ending
preseason ending and now the regular season only around the corner they're looking to make a big
splash with some very very good offensive players and I mean if we look at let's take Karil Marchenko
for example 67 points 76 games 27 goals 40 assists go to Dylan Larkin two very very similar
for Dylan Larkin these guys are elite talents and I think that you know the fact that Bruins
are at least in on them have made trade offers is a very good sign very exciting sign it's going
to tell us exactly what we need to know what we need to see for this Bruins team this season
whether it is the first couple of games whether it's before the trade deadline whether it's next
offseason they're finally admitting that Elias Lindholm not a number one center but they're
willing to go out and I mean if we're looking at the contracts as well things are easy to go about
you know these are contracts that could still very well be done now Marchenko is going to get
a big one but once again the Bruins were willing to make that trade they were willing to go and
extend Karil Marchenko and that's a good sign for what is to come so folks give me your thoughts on
this down below because although you know they may have failed on both these trades for now
Marchenko may be off the board Dylan Larkin still available and there's a lot of other
very interesting boards on the trade block and if you have any in mind let me know down below but
that's all I got in this one if you did enjoy give it a like hit the sub button as well I'm
signing out thank you for watching hope you have a great day!
