How travel will change after COVID-19

Hello guys and welcome to my new video, today we are talking about travelling after coronavirus. So, I wanted to express my opinion about it and do I think that it's going to be the same or, well, I don't think it's going to be the same, but first I would like to welcome you to my channel, welcome back if you are already here, welcome for all the people who are new here. So, let's start. After all this crisis and all this thing with the virus, I think that travelling will never be the same and I think that I'm related to talk about this topic, because I also, before all of this, I work like a tourist guide, so we also get some new instructions, like to wear the mask, to wear some kind of protection if you have a tourist, but where are the tourists? You know who will come. So, I think that it also depends on the country where are you living. I'm in Croatia at the moment and here of course that we need to open the borders and to pretend that we are in a safe country, because we have the sea and tourism is our main source of money in the country, so even it's higher than in Malta or Italy. In Malta and Italy they have like 3% of the total income from tourism in the country and Croatia has over 20%, so that's a lot and we don't put any sources in any other industry, so we are based on tourism, so it was logical that we need to open the borders, because we will face the biggest price ever if we don't do it, so it was logical to not test people anymore, it was logical to say that we are in a safe country. Am I think so? No, I don't think so, I don't agree with that. Well, there are a lot of informations about is this whole situation real, is it true or it's not true, but on side of that, I think travelling in general won't be the same, because the companies when we were flying already said that we will have to mask and they are still not doing the distance part, they started to group the people more and more, like going back to normal, which is ok, we have to go back to normal some day somehow, but I don't know, some people think that it's too early, some think that it's not, I also think that maybe it's a little bit too early, but I think that also the plane tickets will be expensive now, that they will go up by 50%, if not even more, also the public transport, so I think that it's the best for now, if you can avoid it, then it's better to travel by your own car or by bicycle, it sounds weird, but I think it's better at the moment, because, you know, I like to still to avoid such a big groups of people, and I think that also the prices of accommodations, that they won't change, even if they said that it will be longer, because, well, they have to, but I don't think so, I think that the prices can only be the same or go up, because people, of course, they didn't work, they don't have tourists, so they need to make some income, but on a wrong way, I think, so I think that traveling won't be cheaper, at least for 2 or 3 years more, I think it will be even more expensive, and it will be more restrictive, so, I don't know, we will all see what's going to happen in that field, but I think that for some time we can forget like the real cheap plane tickets, that we can forget cheap accommodation, even the Couchsurfing, if you know for that platform, that was free for now, and until now, like, you could tell the people, you write them a message, like, hey, I'm in your town, can I stay with you, and you basically offer the people the accommodation, and it was exchanged, like, doesn't need to be that that person will ever be in your town, so that you will host it, but you host someone else, and now that platform is not free anymore, they started to charge, if you want to be on that platform, so I think that's not also ok, so I think that we will face a lot of changes, and that people will watch only on some income, you know, it won't be sold like it was until now, that was my short opinion about it, share with me yours in the comments, and I hope that we will get back to normal when we talk about traveling, and that it won't cost a million in near future, thank you for watching another video, if you liked it, hit the subscribe and like button, and that would be it for this week, and see you next week with another video.
